About the Role

The Senior Procurement Analyst is responsible for supporting the development and execution of strategic sourcing, supplier management, spend analysis, and procurement optimization initiatives across a broad range of indirect and direct spend categories. This role partners with business stakeholders, Finance, Legal, and suppliers to identify value creation opportunities, improve procurement processes, support sourcing events, and drive effective supplier governance.

The Sr. Procurement Analyst applies deep procurement knowledge and analytical expertise to evaluate spend, develop insights, support contract and supplier management activities, and recommend solutions that improve operational efficiency, mitigate risk, and deliver business value. This position works with minimal direction and collaborates closely with procurement leadership to support strategic procurement objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Do

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Support 

  • Support the development and execution of sourcing strategies across assigned categories. 

  • Conduct market research, supplier evaluations, benchmarking, and spend assessments to identify opportunities for cost optimization and value creation. 

  • Assist in the planning and execution of competitive sourcing events, including RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and supplier negotiations. 

  • Analyze supplier proposals and develop recommendations based on business requirements, commercial considerations, and risk factors. 

  • Partner with stakeholders to align procurement activities with business priorities and operational needs. 

Spend Analysis & Insights 

  • Analyze procurement, supplier, and spend data to identify trends, risks, savings opportunities, and process improvement initiatives. 

  • Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations that provide actionable insights to procurement and business leaders. 

  • Monitor category performance and procurement metrics to measure results and support decision-making. 

  • Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation, demand management, and improved purchasing leverage. 

Supplier Relationship Management 

  • Support the management of supplier relationships and performance across key vendor partnerships. 

  • Track supplier performance against service, quality, delivery, and contractual commitments. 

  • Participate in supplier business reviews and governance activities. 

  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues and improve supplier effectiveness. 

Contract & Risk Management 

  • Support contract lifecycle activities, including contract review, administration, renewals, and compliance monitoring. 

  • Partner with Legal and business stakeholders to facilitate contract execution and maintain required documentation. 

  • Assist in identifying and mitigating supplier-related risks, including operational, financial, and compliance risks. 

  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and governance requirements. 

Cross-Functional Partnership 

  • Build effective working relationships with stakeholders across business functions. 

  • Provide procurement guidance, recommendations, and analytical support to internal customers. 

  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Operations, and other functional teams to support enterprise initiatives. 

  • Contribute to procurement process improvements and capability-building efforts. 

Procurement Excellence & Continuous Improvement 

  • Support the implementation of procurement best practices, tools, and methodologies. 

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance stakeholder experience. 

  • Maintain accurate procurement and supplier information within applicable systems and reporting tools. 

  • Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned. 

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, Operations, or a related field strongly preferred; equivalent experience considered. 

  • 8+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, supply chain, vendor management, finance, or related business experience. 

  • Experience supporting sourcing events, supplier negotiations, spend analytics, and supplier management activities. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations. 

  • Experience working with contracts, supplier agreements, and procurement processes. 

  • Ability to influence stakeholders and build effective partnerships across multiple functions. 

  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills. 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, procurement systems, spend analytics tools, and reporting platforms. 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
