We are AI Native

We are building an AI native company where AI is an integral part of how we build and operate. AI tool usage during interviews varies by role. You may be asked to demonstrate proficiency with AI tools, discuss how you leverage AI, or complete interview exercises without AI assistance. Your Recruiter will provide clear guidance as you move through the interview process.

Undisclosed use of AI not previously discussed with or approved by your Recruiter may impact your candidacy.

About The Team

The Product Design team is the creative engine shaping the vision, strategy, and delivery of extraordinary member experiences at Life360. We are a diverse, collaborative group with an unwavering commitment to craftsmanship and delight in everything we create. With Life360’s rapid growth and strong business momentum, we have a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact at global scale. At the heart of our mission is a dedication to helping families feel safe, connected, and cared for through the transformative power of design.

The Growth Revenue Experimentation team (within the Product Design team) is the engine behind Life360's subscription revenue growth: we turn ideas about pricing, packaging, and the paywall funnel into fast, validated experiments. We run a high volume of tests across the entire subscription funnel - driving free users to start a trial, trial to paid conversion & churn prevention. Additionally, optimizing the top-performing features to drive further conversion, SKU and pricing routing, external billing, and churn and win-back, partnering closely with the Revenue ML team to personalize offers and target the right SKU to the right user.  We set and hold the bar for experiment quality and methodology across the program, using tools like Statsig to run and govern testing at scale, and we ground every decision in research and data, validating or killing assumptions before they become a build. We are also an AI-native team: AI tooling is already speeding up how we generate hypotheses, build, and measure results, and we expect that velocity to keep climbing as our own workflows get faster too.

About the Job

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer II to join our Revenue Experimentation team and help drive Life360's growth through fast, high-quality design experimentation. This role sits at the intersection of product design, growth strategy, and data-informed decision-making, you'll design, test, and iterate on experiences across our subscription and monetization surfaces to uncover new ways to grow revenue and deliver value to families. You'll partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Data Scientists, and Content to turn loosely defined ideas into well-scoped tests, and well-scoped tests into learnings that shape our roadmap. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on ambiguity, moves fast without sacrificing craft, and wants their design decisions to directly and measurably impact the business.

For candidates based in the US, the salary range for this position is $152k to $223k USD. For candidates based out of Canada, the salary range for this position is $176k to $207k CAD. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary - therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.

What You’ll Do
  • Design and run a high volume of experiments across Life360's revenue and monetization surfaces, from trial conversion, trial-to-paid conversion to pricing, SKU routing, and churn/win-back.
  • Turn loosely defined experiment briefs into well-scoped, testable hypotheses, using research and data to validate or challenge the underlying assumptions.
  • Lead design for experiments that originate from your own ideas, and act as a critical, PM-partnering voice on ideas that originate elsewhere.
  • Partner with Data Science and Analytics to define success metrics, interpret experiment results, and translate learnings into follow-on hypotheses.
  • Present experiment concepts, in-flight learnings, and results to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership.
What We’re Looking For
  • 6+ years of product design experience, ideally with exposure to growth, experimentation, or subscription/monetization design.
  • A track record of shipping and iterating on A/B or multivariate experiments in a fast-paced, high-velocity environment.
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity, able to take a loosely defined brief and turn it into a well-scoped, testable hypothesis using research or data.
  • A proactive, ideas-first mindset: someone who brings concepts to the table rather than waiting to be handed a fully-formed brief.
  • Strong collaboration skills, able to both lead from your own ideas and constructively pressure-test others', as a true creative and strategic partner to PMs.
  • Experience partnering closely with engineers, content, and data science across the full experiment lifecycle, from concept to bug bash to results.
  • Excellent organizational habits: clean, well-documented Figma files and clear, traceable rationale for design decisions.
  • Fluency in Figma; familiarity with experimentation and analytics tooling (e.g., Optimizely, Amplitude, Statsig, or similar) is a plus.
  • Comfort using AI tools to accelerate design and production work.
  • Strong visual design craft, with hands-on animation skills.
  • A portfolio that showcases experimentation work, problem framing, hypotheses, iteration, and measurable impact, not just polished final screens.
Ways of Working
  • Operates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing multiple experiments at once.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity. Experiment briefs often start loosely defined, and it's the designer's job to validate the underlying problem (through research or data) and refine it into something well-scoped enough to actually test, confirming or challenging the original assumptions along the way.
  • Contributes ideas proactively, including in regular ideation sessions focused on a specific theme, bringing forward experiment concepts, not just executing others'.
  • Partners with PMs as a true collaborator: leads projects that originate from their own ideas, and acts as a critical partner on PM-originated ideas, pressure-testing them for UX soundness and product fit rather than simply executing.
  • Collaborates across design and other departments when an experiment touches product areas outside their own, to keep the experience consistent and aligned.
  • Keeps work organized and traceable: clean file structure, documented hypotheses and rationale, and clean, well-organized Figma files so anyone can see what's being tested, what's been done, and why.
  • Involves engineers early in the design process to surface technical questions and constraints before they become blockers.
  • Participates in bug bashes, testing experiments before launch to confirm the experience matches intent.
  • Uses AI as a creative and productivity partner, leveraging skills, automation, and AI-generated illustrations or animations where it makes sense, to move faster and free up more time for craft.
AI-Native Expectations
  • Daily use: You embed AI in all your workflows and use it for real, substantive tasks, including research, analysis, drafting, prototyping, analytics and experimentation.
  • Review and accountability for AI output: AI-generated outputs get the same level of care of as any of your deliverables. You are accountable for everything you ship.
  • Velocity: We expect senior practitioners who use AI well to operate with meaningful leverage: doing more with the same time, taking on problems that would otherwise require a larger team.
  • Team leadership: You share what works. You automate prompting strategies that others can build on and help teammates earlier in their AI workflow adoption get up to speed.
  • Continuous learning: The tooling is changing fast. You stay current and bring recommendations to the team when something would meaningfully improve how we work.
Our Benefits
  • Medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance plans (100% paid for US employees). We offer life and disability as well as supplemental plans for medical and dental for Canadian employees.
  • 401(k) plan with company matching program in the US and RRSP with DPSP plan for Canadian employees.
  • Paid parental leave.
  • Mental Wellness Program & Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for mental well-being.
  • Generous time off: flexible PTO, companywide holidays throughout the year plus summer and winter shutdowns.
  • Learning & Development programs.
  • Equipment, tools, and reimbursement support for a productive remote environment.
  • Free Life360 Platinum Membership and Tile trackers.
