About the Team

ClassPass is revolutionizing the fitness and wellness industry by bringing together the world’s best experiences into one app. Our mission is to motivate people to live inspired lives every day by introducing and seamlessly connecting them to soul-nurturing experiences.

ClassPass has set the standard for discovering the world’s best fitness and wellness experiences- and now we’re expanding that mission into new categories and markets. We’re searching for a visionary Senior Product Designer to help build the next generation of the ClassPass app. From food to events to hospitality, you’ll help unlock entirely new experiences, illustrating what’s possible and guiding the product forward

About the Role

This role is ideal for a seasoned IC who thrives on transforming complex systems into intuitive, elegant experiences. You set a high bar for design craft, grounded in systems thinking and real-world impact. You’ve led strategic initiatives before and are equally comfortable zooming out to define vision as you are zooming in to sweat the details and ship.

You’ll report directly to the Director of Design for ClassPass and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Research.

What you’ll be doing…

  • You’ll design experiences that encourage people to get off their screens and into meaningful real-life experiences.
  • You’ll own end-to-end design strategy and execution for key parts of the ClassPass platform— shaping vision, flows, and shipped quality.
  • Lead and contribute to discovery efforts (research, interviews, data synthesis) to uncover insights and opportunities.
  • Translate business objectives into thoughtful design opportunities that lead to intuitive, effective product experiences.
  • You’ll work with a team that is passionate about design craft, our customers, and staying connected with each other.
  • Mentor & multiply: give incisive feedback, model great critiques, and help lift the team’s pace and standards.

Who you are:

  • You have at least 5+ years of product design experience.
  • You have a portfolio demonstrating deep craft and end-to-end product thinking on native mobile consumer products. Experience working on booking or marketplace apps a plus.
  • You believe the line is blurry between product and design leadership and jump at opportunities to lead your cross-functional team through ambiguity.
  • You thrive on complexity and love to dive into broad, deep, and complex problem spaces.
  • Skilled at operating independently to turn ambiguous, cross-functional problems into clear, cohesive visions
  • Adept at translating business objectives into customer-centered design opportunities
  • Strong in product thinking: you can form rigorous hypotheses, influence team understanding, and spot new opportunities. You have an ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative insights and translate them into actionable recommendations.

Pay transparency

It is Playlist's intent to pay all Team Members competitive wages and salaries that are motivational, fair and equitable. The goal of Playlist's compensation program is to be transparent, attract potential employees, meet the needs of all current employees, and encourage Team Members to stay with our organization.

Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.

The base salary range for this position in the United States is $140k to $175k. The total compensation package for this position may also include performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.

Have we piqued your curiosity?

Sound like the role for you? We’d love to hear from you! Even if you’re not 100% sure about potential fit, we still encourage you to apply. We’re looking for the right person, not the perfect series of checkboxes.
