Are you passionate about discovering innovative solutions to complex problems? Do you enjoy creating products that are clear, beautiful, and engaging? Are you excited about how user-centric design can drive business success? If this sounds like you, apply today and join us as we shape the future of digital security and privacy.

About the role

As a Senior Product Designer working on Dashlane’s core product, you'll be a key member of a high-performing team solving for the Admin persona and its end-users. Your work will directly impact the user experience for business and personal customers worldwide and will be essential to making their operations more secure.

For this role, we seek someone more inclined to the technical side of the design process, detail-oriented, and proficient in discoverability. You will be mostly focused on improving the core experience of the product, and you will have to balance UX with Security, helping our users stay safe online and keeping their data secure with us.

You will contribute to a best-in-class user experience with an experimental mindset driving breakthroughs. You’ll master the balance between intuitive patterns and disruptive ideas by drafting and challenging hypotheses. This involves running them through qualitative and quantitative analysis while staying close to the customer. You’ll collaborate with the Product Manager to drive the conversation from problem discovery to solution. At Dashlane, you’ll actively contribute to our credential security, helping both large and small customers stay safe online and keep their data secure.

You will be a key member of a product-engineering-design triad, working alongside your peers to understand customer needs and identify business opportunities. In this role, you will advocate for user-centric approaches, influence product decisions, and ensure solutions are implemented in an intuitive, scalable manner.

Location-specific information

You will be based in Paris, with English as your working language. At Dashlane, we embrace a hybrid culture that combines the best of both worlds: the creativity and energy of in-person collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. Our model is designed to strengthen team connections while supporting individual productivity and work-life balance. To maximize collaboration, we come together in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, while Wednesdays and Fridays offer more flexibility for focused work.

At Dashlane you will:
  • Be a key member of our cross-functional, business-oriented teams, and an advocate for the user at every step

  • Drive the work with support from product managers, engineers, and fellow designers

  • Ensure the success of released solutions, drive innovation and constantly push the quality of the product further

  • Create exemplary prototypes and experiences that balance user needs, technology constraints, and Dashlane values and objectives

  • Inject usability, accessibility, and delight into the user experience of our product

  • Utilise and contribute to our design system as you create high-quality UI reflecting the brand and enforcing messaging

  • Provide your expertise in discovering user pain points and solving user problems using advanced UX Research methodologies and tools. You'll be counted upon to ensure that your design solutions are data-driven and user-validated

  • Participate in UX workshops and Design Sprints to drive innovation, solve usability problems, and build intuitive user experiences

Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in a digital product development environment

  • 4+ years of experience working in close partnership with engineers and product managers

  • Prior and significant experience on a SaaS product and B2B/Enterprise solutions

  • Full professional mastery of English, both verbal and written

We're Also Looking For:
  • 3+ years of experience in Figma and is familiar with building reusable components or contributing to a Design System

  • Experience storyboarding, building user flows, prototyping — and applying research techniques such as Card Sorting, Experience Maps, Opportunity Mapping, and various Usability Testing methodologies

  • Proven track record of measurable design impact on the business

  • Ability to champion for user centric needs

  • Ability to understand the requirements for an accessible experience and ability to interpret and apply WCAG guidelines

  • Solid understanding of the interplay between typography, color, motion, and their impact on visual communication and human cognition

  • Experience creating, integrating, and advocating Design Systems in the software development context

  • Working experience with Agile cycles and ceremonies

  • Comfort in putting the team first and sharing ownership in the company's success

  • Passion for digital privacy and security and follows the latest trends in the world of software development

  • Ability to effectively translate complex ideas into simple language. Your fluency in English will be essential when communicating in writing and verbally.
