Intelex is looking for a Senior Product Manager, AI and Analytics to join our growing AI team and help shape the future of intelligence-powered EHSQ software. In this role, you will own the product vision, roadmap, and delivery for AI and analytics capabilities across the Intelex platform—spanning structured data transformation, embedded AI features, and the analytics experiences that turn EHSQ data into organizational insight.

You will work at the intersection of customer value, data architecture, and cutting-edge AI—translating complex enterprise needs into clear, prioritized roadmaps and working hand-in-hand with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to bring those roadmaps to life. The ideal candidate blends strong analytical thinking with a deep passion for AI product development and brings communication skills to align cross-functional stakeholders and represent our product strategy externally.

Responsibilities and Deliverables

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and maintain the product roadmap for AI and analytics capabilities, balancing near-term customer value with long-term platform differentiation.

  • Translate business objectives, market signals, and customer research into a prioritized backlog with clear goals, success metrics, and release milestones.

  • Develop and communicate a compelling product vision for how AI—including LLMs, Auto-Structure, AI Lens, and agentic workflows—will transform how EHSQ professionals work.

  • Partner with the VP of Data Analytics, Architecture & AI to align AI product investments with company strategy and Fortive Business System priorities.

  • Identify opportunities to leverage Intelex’s unique cross-industry EHSQ data as a strategic moat, and build products that capitalize on it.

Customer & Market Discovery

  • Conduct ongoing customer discovery—through interviews, advisory councils, and collaboration with sales and customer success—to deeply understand EHSQ workflows and unmet needs.

  • Analyze usage data, NPS feedback, and support signals to identify friction points and validate hypotheses before committing to development.

  • Track the competitive landscape across EHSQ software, EHS AI point solutions, and horizontal AI platforms to surface gaps and positioning opportunities.

  • Partner with marketing on positioning, messaging, and analyst relations (e.g., Verdantix, Gartner) for AI and analytics features.

Delivery & Execution

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of AI and analytics features—from writing clear PRDs and acceptance criteria through sprint planning, launch, and post-release iteration.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering leads, AI Solution Architects, and UX designers to make sound build-vs-buy-vs-partner decisions and ensure technical feasibility.

  • Define instrumentation and analytics strategies so new AI features are measurable from day one; monitor adoption, quality, and outcome metrics post-launch.

  • Manage dependencies across squads and proactively surface risks to delivery timelines.

  • Support customer onboarding and enablement by working with the services team to define configuration guides, training materials, and rollout playbooks for AI capabilities.

Stakeholder Engagement & Enablement

  • Serve as the internal product authority on AI and analytics—enabling sales, presales, and customer success teams with competitive positioning, demo narratives, and feature deep-dives.

  • Present roadmap updates, business cases, and launch readiness reviews to senior leadership, including the CPTO and executive team.

  • Represent the voice of the customer in architecture and governance reviews, ensuring AI design decisions preserve trust, explainability, and regulatory compliance.

  • Contribute to Intelex’s external AI narrative—including customer-facing trust and governance documentation, AI pricing strategy, and partner/ecosystem communications.

Organizational Alignment

Reports to the VP of Data Analytics, Architecture and AI

Qualifications

Skills & Work Traits

  • Exceptional communicator—able to translate ambiguous AI concepts into crisp business value for executives, customers, and engineers alike.

  • Customer-obsessed with a bias for discovery before solutioning; comfortable sitting with ambiguity and structuring it into actionable plans.

  • Highly collaborative and cross-functional—builds trust quickly with engineering, design, data, sales, and services partners.

  • Analytically rigorous: uses data to drive prioritization decisions, measure outcomes, and tell compelling product stories.

  • Strong product instincts for what makes AI features trustworthy, useful, and adoptable in enterprise software contexts.

  • Self-directed and proactive, with the organizational discipline to manage multiple roadmap threads simultaneously and keep stakeholders aligned.

  • Comfortable representing the company externally—with customers, analysts, and partners—on AI product strategy and roadmap.

  • Leader who embraces the Fortive Business System and applies continuous improvement thinking to product processes.

Product & Domain Competencies

  • Deep familiarity with enterprise SaaS product management, including PRD writing, agile delivery, roadmap governance, and go-to-market execution.

  • Working knowledge of AI/ML product concepts—including LLMs, RAG, structured data extraction, classification models, and agentic workflows—sufficient to engage credibly with engineering and make sound trade-off decisions.

  • Experience defining and tracking analytics product metrics (e.g., feature adoption, model accuracy, time-to-insight) and working with data teams to instrument and monitor them.

  • Familiarity with cloud data stacks (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure) and BI/analytics tooling (e.g., QuickSight, Sisense, or equivalent) at a conceptual level.

  • Exposure to AI governance, data privacy, and responsible AI principles as they apply to enterprise software products.

  • Experience in or passion for EHS, quality, sustainability, or regulated-industry verticals is a strong asset.

Experience

Required:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years focused on AI, data, or analytics products in a B2B SaaS environment.

  • Demonstrated track record of taking AI or data-driven features from discovery through launch and measuring their business impact.

  • Experience working directly with data science, ML engineering, or AI architecture teams and translating technical constraints into clear product decisions.

  • Strong command of agile methodologies and experience managing a backlog across multiple concurrent workstreams.

Preferred:

  • 7+ years of product management experience, including at least one senior or lead PM role.

  • Experience in enterprise EHSQ, ERP, compliance, or related regulated-industry software.

  • Background in or exposure to data product management, including working with structured and unstructured data transformation pipelines.

  • Familiarity with AI platform economics, usage-based pricing models, or AI add-on packaging in enterprise SaaS.

Education

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

Preferred:

  • MBA or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline. Product management certifications (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, AIPMM) or AI/ML fundamentals certifications are a plus.

Other Requirements

Please note that this role requires a satisfactory Criminal Background Check and Public Safety Verification.
