The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:

RTX is seeking a business savvy software product manager to define, prioritize and oversee the development of software products, ensuring they meet market needs and business goals.  The successful candidate will act as a bridge between the market, customers, and the development team, guiding the product lifecycle from conception to launch and beyond.  

 What You Will Do

  • Product Strategy and Roadmap: Defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, and ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals.

  • Prioritize development work: Maintain and be responsible for the clear product requirements, delivery with the Engineering team and metrics for success are built and maintained.

  • Market Research and Analysis: Conducting market research, competitor analysis, and gathering customer feedback to understand market needs and identify opportunities.

  • Product Definition and Prioritization: Translating market requirements into detailed product specifications, user stories, and prioritizing features based on business value and customer impact.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other teams to ensure seamless product development and launch.

  • Product Lifecycle Management: Managing the entire product lifecycle, from conception to end-of-life, including planning, development, testing, launch, and ongoing maintenance.  

  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Tracking product performance using key metrics and making data-driven decisions to optimize the product.

  • Travel Required: Up to 20%

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field. or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field and minimum 7 years experience

  • 10+ years of experience related to product management and/or software development.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to gather and analyze data to identify trends, measure performance, and drive product improvements. In essence, a software product manager is a strategic leader who owns the product and is responsible for its success in the market.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
