Partner with the best

We're looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our product development and GTM efforts. As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead the development a world-class product, to a successful launch. You'll help drive growth by defining products and ensuring alignment with market demands and customer needs.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Shaping the product strategy and the product roadmap in line with stakeholders, company vision and market trends.
  • Becoming an authority in your space by working directly with customers.
  • Collaborating with engineering, sales and support to deliver solutions needed to drive exponential revenue growth.
  • Hands-on work to define, prioritize, and communicate product requirements and corresponding acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborating with the product marketing team to develop effective business and market communications that emphasize product value.
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of relevant technologies and contributing as a thought leader in the security industry.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have 12 years of product management experience in enterprise networking or enterprise security or it's equivalent
  • Have an in-depth understanding of network security or security policy in data centers.
  • Be a great communicator who can mediate between customer, product, marketing and engineering.
  • Have a drive to design new, innovative and disruptive products.
  • Have an Inherent passion for cybersecurity and solving problems.

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $139,300 - $250,700/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). Akamai provides industry-leading benefits including healthcare, 401K savings plan, company holidays, vacation (in the form of PTO), sick time, family friendly benefits including parental leave and an employee assistance program including a focus on mental and financial wellness; Eligibility requirements apply.
