Senior Product Manager (Remote, US-Based)

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to help drive the success of our flagship product. This is a self-managed/on-prem product that enables developers, data scientists, data engineers, DevOps, and DBAs to automate, govern, and gain insights into their data store CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate is a hands-on product manager with experience delivering developer-focused enterprise software. You are customer-obsessed, data-informed, and passionate about working closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, impactful solutions delivering significant product enhancements that solve challenging problems in the database DevOps & CI/CD space.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will work alongside engineering, design, marketing, and customer success teams to define product requirements, prioritize enhancements, and deliver exceptional user experiences. You’ll contribute to product strategy, ensure alignment with customer needs and business goals, and help bring our vision to life through detailed execution and planning.

Responsibilities

  • Product Planning & Execution: Translate high-level product strategy into clear and actionable product requirements and roadmaps. Work with cross-functional teams to deliver features on time and with high quality.Customer & Market Understanding: Engage with customers to identify pain points and gather requirements. Leverage insights from user interviews, product usage data, and competitive research to inform decisions.
  • Roadmap Management: Develop and maintain a clear, strategic product roadmap by prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market trends, competitive dynamics, and business objectives. Ensure roadmap decisions drive product value and strengthen product-market fit.
  • Backlog Management: Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring engineering is focused on high-impact work. Write epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering, design, support, sales, and marketing to ensure smooth delivery and consistent communication across teams.Customer-Focused Solutions: Be a voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle. Ensure features solve real problems and deliver measurable value.Data-Driven Decision Making: Use telemetry, analytics, and KPIs to evaluate product success, inform prioritization, and identify opportunities for improvement.Product Lifecycle Involvement: Own the full lifecycle of features and enhancements — from discovery and definition through launch and iteration post-release.Support Go-to-Market: Collaborate with marketing and sales on feature launches, product positioning, and enablement content.

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6+ years of product management experience in software or technology companies.
  • Demonstrated success in launching and iterating on enterprise or developer-focused software products.
  • Strong user orientation with a technical background and the ability to work closely with engineering teams.
  • Deeply customer-centric mindset; experienced in engaging with users throughout the product lifecycle. Comfortable using metrics and insights from market research, interviews, competitive analysis, and experimentation to guide decisions.
  • Exceptional cross-functional collaborator — skilled at working with marketing, sales, engineering, and customer success to deliver cohesive product outcomes.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and automation concepts.
  • Experienced in Agile development environments, including creating epics and user stories, and partnering with engineering to deliver high-quality user experiences.
  • Equally comfortable with strategic thinking and hands-on product execution.
  • Able to begin work by 8:30 AM CST to align with our engineering team in Eastern Europe.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with data-related technologies (structured, unstructured, or object-based).
  • Exposure to AI/ML, data engineering, or data science environments.
  • Background in DevOps engineering or tools used in CI/CD pipelines.
