Qrypt's mission is to protect the world's data and restore privacy. Qrypt hardens cybersecurity and future-proofs encryption against quantum attacks by eliminating key transmission. Qrypt's unique technology independently generates symmetric keys at multiple endpoints for critical workflows today. We are a passionate team of engineers, physicists, and cryptographers committed to transforming the way the world safeguards data and communications!
Qrypt is looking for a Senior Product Manager to define what we sell. Our technology is strong and our building blocks — quantum entropy, our post-quantum cipher, and entropy-as-a-service — are well understood. The gap is turning those building blocks into a clear set of products that customers can understand, evaluate, and buy. You will own that: talking to customers and the market, deciding which offerings we package and how, and writing the requirements that turn our technology into products. You will work closely with our engineering and product leadership to make sure what we define is both what the market wants and what we can ship.
What you'll do
Own product definition end to end: turn Qrypt's technology (quantum random number generation, our post-quantum cipher, entropy-as-a-service) into a coherent, orderable set of products.
Run customer and market discovery: talk to prospects, customers, and partners to understand real problems, buying criteria, and where Qrypt wins.
Define packaging and positioning: decide what each offering includes, who it's for, and how it's differentiated.
Write clear product requirements and specs, and prioritize a roadmap in partnership with engineering and product leadership.
Serve as the connective tissue between market needs and engineering execution, making tradeoff calls and keeping scope honest.
Support go-to-market: arm sales with the language, materials, and framing to sell the offerings you define.
Build the product practice — discovery cadence, requirements standards, prioritization — as an early product hire.
What you'll need
7+ years in product management, including senior ownership of a technical B2B product line.
Deep-tech or security-native background: direct experience with cybersecurity, cryptography, post-quantum encryption, or security infrastructure. You can hold a credible conversation with both cryptographers and enterprise buyers.
A track record of taking products from definition through launch, including packaging and positioning decisions ("0-to-1" or new-offering work, not just backlog grooming).
Strong customer discovery skills and the judgment to translate messy market input into clear product direction.
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to align engineers, leadership, and sales.
Comfortable being an early, hands-on product hire building the function as you go.
Fluency with AI and agent-assisted workflows. Working with AI tools is core to how we operate at Qrypt, and it is expected of everyone here.
Must be authorized to work in the United States. Qrypt does not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
Nice to have
Experience with enterprise networking, cloud infrastructure, or developer-facing/API products.
Familiarity with security compliance and certification (e.g., FIPS 140-3, Common Criteria) and how it shapes enterprise buying.
Experience selling into regulated or high-assurance markets (defense, finance, telecom, critical infrastructure).
Benefits & Perks
Competitive Pay & Equity participation
Comprehensive health, dental and vision coverage
401(k) match
In-office lunch and snacks
The opportunity to be part of a company solving one of the most critical technology challenges of our time!
