In this position, you will play a critical role in creating a thoughtful, organized, and high-quality recruiting experience from the first candidate interaction through the interview process. You will partner closely with our Talent Acquisition team to coordinate interviews, manage candidate communications and logistics, and keep the hiring process moving.

Our Senior Recruiting Coordinators play an important role in shaping how candidates experience CesiumAstro. For many candidates, you will be one of their first interactions with the company and one of the first faces they meet onsite. How we communicate, how prepared we are, and how we show up throughout the process matters. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of those details and represents our culture with professionalism, urgency, and care.

This is a fast moving role that requires exceptional organization, attention to detail, and strong communication. The ideal candidate is a true team player who can quickly understand business needs, stay ahead of competing priorities, and take pride in delivering a high quality experience for candidates and internal teams alike

 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and CesiumAstro staff, ensuring a positive experience for all parties.
  • Manage job postings on various platforms, including the company website and external job boards. This will include drafting job postings and other recruitment-related materials as well as posting and maintaining job listings on state job boards in alignment with Affirmative Action (AA) and compliance guidelines.
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information and status updates.
  • Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates.
  • Support the onboarding process by conducting pre-employment background checks, drug screens, and coordinating start dates.  
  • Pull reports on recruitment metrics through our ATS, Lever.
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team on candidate experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in recruiting or related business administration.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., and familiarity with ATS systems (Lever preferred).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude, team-oriented, and a passion for recruitment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • A high level of integrity and respect for confidentiality.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Passion for the space industry.
  • Experience working in a start-up or small company.
  • Experience at high-tech companies.
