Are you a recruiter who thrives in hard-to-fill, high-impact roles? Do you know what it takes to attract top-tier maintenance technicians, ammonia refrigeration specialists, and skilled trades talent in competitive markets?
We’re looking for a Remote Senior Recruiter who brings deep experience in skilled trades recruiting and knows how to identify, engage, and close talent that keeps critical operations running. What You’ll Do
- Own full-cycle recruitment for high-demand skilled trades roles, with a focus on maintenance technicians, ammonia and Freon refrigeration specialists, and facility support talent
- Partner closely with operations leaders and HR to deeply understand workforce needs, technical requirements, and hiring challenges across multiple sites
- Build and execute targeted sourcing strategies to engage passive talent in competitive labor markets (including trade schools, unions, referrals, and niche platforms)
- Drive a high-touch candidate experience, from initial outreach through offer, ensuring strong engagement with hard-to-reach talent pools
- Lead intake sessions, calibration discussions, and debriefs to align hiring teams and improve selection quality
- Proactively develop talent pipelines to support both immediate hiring needs and future workforce planning
- Represent the company in the field by hosting and attending hiring events, job fairs, and community outreach initiatives
- Track and analyze recruiting performance, using data to optimize strategies and influence hiring decisions
- Fill critical, business-essential roles that directly support operational uptime and safety
- Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders on market conditions, talent availability, and hiring strategy
- Bring creativity and persistence to crack tough reqs that require specialized skill sets
- Elevate recruiting practices by sharing market insights and best practices with the broader team
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong focus on skilled trades, maintenance, or industrial hiring
- Demonstrated success recruiting for hard-to-fill roles such as refrigeration technicians, ammonia operators, or facility maintenance professionals
- Proven ability to source passive candidates using creative, non-traditional approaches
- Experience partnering with operations leaders in fast-paced, multi-site environments
- Strong working knowledge of ATS/CRM systems (Workday or similar preferred)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills—you know how to influence and build trust quickly
- Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results remotely
- Willingness to travel up to 10% and support occasional flexible schedules based on hiring demands
This isn’t a high-volume, transactional recruiting role. This is for someone who:
- Enjoys digging into niche talent markets
- Takes pride in filling roles others struggle to close
- Wants to play a key role in supporting mission-critical operations
