Job Description

Kioxia is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sr. Sales Manager to lead account development efforts with a major Storage/Server OEM customer in the Austin, TX area. Reporting to the Director of Sales, this individual will be responsible for driving revenue growth, deepening customer relationships, and positioning Kioxia’s Memory portfolio as the preferred solution for current and future design opportunities.

This is a high-impact, customer-facing role that requires a balance of strategic account management and hands-on technical engagement. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal business units, engineering teams, and global sales and marketing organizations to deliver a seamless and differentiated customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Revenue Growth

  • Serve as a point of contact for a named OEM account, building and sustaining executive-level relationships across Purchasing, Engineering, and CTO-level functions.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive account plan(s) aligned with both customer objectives and Kioxia’s strategic growth targets.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within targeted accounts.
  • Manage pricing and quoting activities, help drive cross-functional alignment and drive design wins through to production.

Technical Engagement & Pre-Sales Support

  • Engage with customer engineering and architecture teams to understand product roadmaps and design requirements, positioning Kioxia solutions accordingly.
  • Provide informed responses to technical pre-sales inquiries, coordinating with internal engineering and business unit teams as needed.
  • Support design-in activities by facilitating the flow of technical information between the customer and Kioxia’s engineering and business unit teams.
  • Deliver compelling sales and technical presentations that articulate Kioxia’s product value proposition and competitive differentiation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting

  • Partner with Kioxia’s global sales, marketing, and product teams to align account strategies with business objectives.
  • Provide regular reporting on account status, pipeline development, market intelligence, and competitive dynamics.
  • Represent customer feedback and requirements internally to influence product roadmap and go-to-market decisions.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 6-10 years of experience in a customer-facing sales or account management role, with a demonstrated track record of success selling to large OEM or Cloud customers.
  • Strong preference for candidates with direct experience selling SSD, NAND, or Storage products.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and engage stakeholders across multiple levels of a customer organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience delivering technical and executive-level presentations.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and capable of operating effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM and price quoting tools.

Preferred

  • Prior experience in a named account or strategic account role supporting a major Storage or Server OEM.
  • Working knowledge of NAND Flash technology, SSD controller architectures, or enterprise storage systems.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor or component sales into the compute and data center markets.

The expected salary for this position is $99,660.00 - $166,100.00.
