About the role

We are looking for a dynamic, high-performing Senior Sales Manager to join our high performing Nonprofit Vertical team. This position will lead a team of Enterprise Account Executives to achieve growth targets including building new pipeline for our high growth Customer Team within the Nonprofit Vertical. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new and strengthening existing relationships with Executives and Senior Leaders at Nonprofit accounts. This position reports to the Director of Sales for the Nonprofit Vertical. The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team of seasoned Account Executives and will have a proven track record for delivering results in commercial accounts.

 

What you'll do

  • Lead a team of Account Executives to achieve quarterly/annual bookings and revenue targets
  • Coach and measure key activity metrics, adherence to sales process and the sales leadership framework component
  • Attract and retain an all-star team, including recruiting, hiring, coaching, and training
  • Establish C-level relationships with strategic customers via proactive customer networking and development
  • Monitor market trends and key events within Nonprofit Vertical and provide periodic updates to executive team
  • Assist in the territory planning for accounts by working with Account Executives and customers to understand their challenges and identifying opportunities
  • Assist sales team with closing transactions with multiple decision makers
  • Utilize Sales Team and Customer feedback, in addition to bookings, pipeline and account data to diagnose business strengths and weaknesses, implement change and allocate resources appropriately

 

What you'll have

  • 5+ years software or SaaS sales experience with a focus on consultative solutions selling
  • 1+ years sales management experience in a rapidly growing and fast-paced environment
  • Proven history of leading teams to achieve quotas and objectives within a commercial environment
  • Excellent coaching skills and sales methodology knowledge allowing you and your team to skillfully negotiate wins internally and externally while maintaining strong relationships
  • Fostering a positive attitude, the ability to stay flexible in a fast-paced, changing environment and the enthusiasm required to maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Nonprofit industry experience a plus

The starting base salary and annual proposed commission is $183,300.00 to $249,600.00. Blackbaud may pay more or less based on employee qualifications, market value, sales quota, Company finances, and other operational considerations.
