About the role
The GTM Enterprise Applications is looking for a seasoned and certified Senior Salesforce Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join our team and serve as a key techno-functional bridge between our Salesforce engineering team and our business stakeholders. The role of Senior Salesforce BSA entails utilizing the candidate's deep understanding of Sales and Marketing business processes to gather and evaluate user requirements, with the aim of providing comprehensive technology solutions that align with the business objectives of the revenue teams at Cloudflare. As a valued member of the core team, your responsibilities will involve document, synthesize requirements, solution design, development, and upkeep of the Salesforce platform and its associated technologies for the IT - GTM Enterprise Application's department.
Key responsibilities
  • Manage Sales and Marketing technology projects and related impacts on GTM systems: developing requirements, designing functional solutions, prototypes & facilitate solution documentations. Ensure projects are completed with agreed upon scope, on time.
  • Collaborate with business partners to establish and document user stories, current and desired business processes, and functional requirements.
  • Deep experience in Solution design of Campaign to Order processes, Lead Generation and Management, Campaign attribution tracking, Sales Path/Process management.
  • Advance understanding of Salesforce automations such as Flow and overall point to click platform capabilities, Hands-on exposure related to Salesforce platform configurations with clear vision on how to design solutions for complex business use cases.
  • Effectively convey business requirements to technical teams to facilitate custom development and Unit and Smoke testing.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects involving technical development, including Salesforce integration with native or 3rd & 4th party applications.
  • Foster collaboration with other Business Systems Analysts to review and identify overlaps in requirements internally with other BSA's, and propose relevant technical solutions.
  • Be a trusted advisor and consultant to the business stakeholders and make recommendations for improvements to systems and processes to make processes and workflows more efficient and automated.
  • Create, maintain, and prioritize the Jira backlog according to business value through the life of the projects.
  • Assisting with the elaboration of epics, themes, and features into user stories that are small enough, or granular enough, to be achieved in a single sprint.
  • Participating in Daily scrum, Sprint ceremonies, reveals, retrospectives and CAB's - inspecting the product progress at the end of every sprint to accept or reject the work that has been done by the team
  • Demonstrate leadership and technical expertise by presenting tailored solutions to solve complex business requirements on the Salesforce platform and ecosystem
  • Design, prototype, and deploy scalable solutions using Salesforce AI capabilities (Einstein, GPT) and Agentforce automations, ensuring responsible governance, cross-functional alignment, and measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, data quality, and end-user productivity.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation based on design specifications.
  • Take ownership of functional tasks and deliverables for the Salesforce Sales Cloud application, encompassing areas such as testing, training, reporting, support, and ongoing enhancements.
  • Use and recommend best practices while delivering scalable high quality solutions.
  • Providing support for production issues, including fixes across platforms and on-call responsibilities working with the production support team to ensure 24x7 availability of production systems.
  • Ensure adherence to IT General controls, including Change Advisory Boards (CABs), Documentation protocols, peer reviews, and CI/CD tooling such as Copado.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, RevOps, Data Insights, Finance, Legal, and Security teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Foster collaboration with internal Business Systems Analysts to review and identify overlaps in requirements internally with other BSA's, and propose relevant technical solutions.
  • Be a trusted advisor and make recommendations for improvements to systems and processes to make processes and workflows more scalable, efficient and automated.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience implementing, configuring and administering Salesforce and SaaS business systems with at least 3 years of Salesforce Sales and/or Marketing Cloud experience.
  • Proficient in the use of Salesforce Data Loader, Workbench and Excel to support data analysis & quality initiatives.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, hard working, and a great team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required, including experience meeting with and presenting information to senior leadership
  • Salesforce.com certifications (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant)
  • Passion for creating a frictionless end-user experience
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving scenario
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Salesforce.com ecosystem and best-practices
  • Salesforce certifications strongly preferred.
  • Strong familiarity with GTM technologies, Salesforce & Integration Security best practices, and platform governance.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.

Compensation
Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.
  • For New York City, Washington, Washington D.C. and California (excluding Bay Area) based hires: Estimated annual salary of $152,000 - $186,000.
