About Handraise

Founded in 2023, Handraise is an always-on media intelligence platform for narrative control. The companies we work with include the world’s most influential brands and our investors include Silverton Partners, Floodgate, and Bill Wood Ventures.

Our Founder previously founded PR analytics startup TrendKite, which scaled into the most widely used PR analytics platform in the world and was acquired by Cision (NYSE:CISN) for $225M.

We’re a competitive, tight-knit team in Austin, TX. We value autonomy, ownership, and grit — and we’re looking for people who share the same fire to win in competitive environments, thrive in ambiguity, and want to help us build a generational company.

About the Role

Handraise is hiring for a Senior SDR to drive enterprise sales and become the foundation of our go-to-market team. This is the opportunity to join a fast growing startup pioneering AI for corporate communications — you’ll be hunting your own deals, rolling up your sleeves, and working with our team to prove you generate opportunities with Fortune 500 logos, fast.

You’ll work directly with our Head of Sales, take ownership of pipeline creation, and will play a massive role in helping to set the tone for the sales culture at Handraise. This is a chance to be part of the earliest stage of a high-growth company, where your effort and resilience directly shape the outcome. This role is a career accelerator.

If you thrive in tough environments, if you can deal with imperfect processes and scrappy resources but still find a way to win, and you’re excited to sell directly to senior Communications leaders at the world’s best and biggest companies — this role is for you.

Your Impact

  • Own the top of the sales cycle: from prospecting, outreach, and helping to implement best in class scalable processes
  • Build and manage a pipeline of high-value opportunities with the world’s best global brands
  • Craft and refine messaging that resonates with senior Communications and PR leaders
  • Partner directly with the Head of Sales on high-stakes pitches and outreach strategy
  • Set the foundation for our sales process, playbooks, and future team expansion
  • Help shape product direction by bringing back customer insights and real market feedback
  • Be the face of Handraise with our first wave of enterprise customers, building long-term relationships and trust

Your Skills

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a sales/business development role
  • You have a proven track record of winning in tough environments
  • You’re comfortable being the underdog and thrive on finding ways to succeed with limited resources
  • You’re a natural hunter who loves building pipeline, not just managing inbound
  • You’re resilient: objections, and tough negotiations don’t rattle you — you find a way forward
  • You’re persuasive and comfortable pitching senior executives at global companies
  • You have excellent communication and storytelling skills, able to connect vision to ROI
  • You don’t wait for playbooks — you create them, test them, and iterate
  • You’re motivated by ownership, autonomy, and the chance to build something that lasts

Nice to Haves

  • PR/Comms/Media tech experience (or selling into Marketing/Comms orgs)
  • Early-stage startup experience (0 → 1 sales build)
  • Experience with multi-stakeholder, complex deal cycles

Our Benefits

  • Competitive compensation with aggressive upside (base + commission + equity)
  • Very competitive health benefits (medical, dental, vision, life)
  • Opportunity to shape the sales culture and trajectory of a venture-backed startup from the ground floor
  • Opportunity to build relationships with and deliver value to senior leaders at the world’s best brands

Sound Great? What Next?

  • Send your resume and a note about a deal you’re most proud of to [email protected]
  • After reviewing resumes, selected candidates will be invited for an initial phone screening, followed by an in person interview with our founding team
