As we grow, we’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about leveraging AI to help businesses, especially those in the Government Contracting (GovCon) space, move faster and win more projects.

We’re looking for engineers that share our passion for building and scaling with leading-edge technology in a fast-paced, startup environment - one which already has the benefit of thousands of customers and millions of dollars of revenue. You’ll have the opportunity to work on our core platform, train and deploy research-grade AI models, and occasionally work with our customers.

What You Will Do         

You’ll spend most of your time building out our core offering with feedback from our internal experts with decades of experience, integrating the latest and greatest advances in artificial intelligence.

  • Plan, implement, and test product features
  • Iterate with our non-technical staff to improve performance
  • Advocate for new lines of effort and bring ideas to the table
  • Architect elegant solutions to complex, open-ended problems
  • Perform code reviews and provide feedback
  • Help meet customer needs in an ever-evolving trillion-dollar industry
  • Create documentation, demos, diagrams, etc.

 Your First 90 Days

  • In Week 1, you’ll meet the team, begin onboarding, and gain access to our systems.
  • In Week 2, you’ll shadow one of your colleagues as they move through tickets.
  • In Month 1, you’ll independently tackle tickets and feature requests.
  • In Month 2, you’ll begin developing specialties and complete your first on-call rotation.
  • By Month 3, you’ll be independently driving product outcomes and branching out into more R&D.

 Who You Are    

  • 5+ years of full stack experience; 2+ years on a TypeScript/JS stack
  • Experience working with LLM APIs, Prompt Engineering
  • Deployed a Vue.js application to a production environment
  • Strong communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and WebSocket interfaces
  • Experience working with Queues, Postgres, WebSockets, understanding Embeddings
  • Strong dedication with ability to work in a low-process, high-ownership environment

 Your Differentiators    

  • Contributed to open source or built hobbyist projects
  • Experience in high growth SaaS environments
  • Infrastructure literacy with networking and containers
  • Proficient in secure coding principles and practice
  • Prior experience with Generative AI
  • Prior experience with Python, Prisma, AWS

The salary range for this opportunity is $141,000 - $166,320 per year. You will be eligible for discretionary bonus compensation, subject to plans that may be in effect from time to time.
