What You'll Do
As a key technical leader on the R2 team, you will:
- Define Technical Direction: Architect and set the technical strategy for some of Cloudflare's most critical and complex infrastructure projects within R2.
- Drive Architectural Decisions: Lead large-scale architectural discussions and decisions that impact multiple teams and services across Cloudflare.
- Engineer Scalable Systems: Design, implement, and optimize distributed systems that operate reliably under extreme load and at massive, global scale.
- Solve Ambiguous Problems: Lead technical investigations, breaking down complex and ambiguous challenges into clear, actionable plans.
- Foster Collaboration: Work closely with engineers across various teams, product managers, and infrastructure stakeholders to align goals, drive consensus, and ensure timely delivery.
