The summary above was generated by AI

At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.

About the Role

As a Senior Solution Engineer at Snowflake, you are the technical trusted advisor to our customers and prospects. You bridge the gap between complex technical capabilities and business outcomes, equally comfortable whiteboarding architecture with a data engineering team and presenting ROI to a CFO. You own the technical win.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discovery, solution design, and proof-of-value engagements with enterprise customers across all industries

  • Translate complex business requirements into architectures leveraging the Snowflake Data Cloud (data engineering, data science/AI/ML, data sharing, applications, and security/governance)

  • Deliver compelling technical presentations, demos, and workshops to audiences ranging from individual contributors to C-suite executives

  • Partner with Account Executives to drive pipeline, accelerate deals, and close business

  • Serve as the voice of the customer back to Product and Engineering teams

  • Build and maintain reusable assets: demo environments, reference architectures, and solution accelerators

  • Stay current on competitive landscape, industry trends, and emerging capabilities across the data & AI ecosystem

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience spanning multiple disciplines: data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, software development, cloud architecture, or technical consulting

  • Demonstrated ability to design end-to-end data platforms (ingestion, transformation,

  • orchestration, serving, governance)

  • Hands-on proficiency with SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Java, Scala)

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data stack tooling (dbt, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Terraform, or equivalent)

  • Proven track record of delivering technical solutions in a customer-facing, pre-sales, or consulting capacity

  • Exceptional communication skills — can articulate deeply technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and hold credibility with engineering teams simultaneously

  • Experience engaging with executive leadership (CTO, CDO, CIO, CFO) on business strategy and technology roadmap discussions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI/ML workflows: model training, LLMs, RAG architectures, MLOps, feature engineering

  • Background in software engineering — building production applications, APIs, CI/CD pipelines

  • Prior consulting experience (Big 4, boutique, or internal) with demonstrated ability to scope, plan, and deliver complex technical programs

  • Familiarity with data governance, compliance frameworks, and security best practices

  • Experience with Snowflake or competing platforms (Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift)

  • Industry domain expertise (Financial Services, Healthcare, Retail, Media, or Public Sector)

What Sets You Apart

  • You've been the "full-stack" technical person — not limited to one tool, one layer, or one audience

  • You thrive in ambiguity: scoping a problem, building conviction, and driving a customer to a decision

  • You combine technical depth with business acumen — understanding not just how to build, but why it matters

  • You have a builder's mindset: if a demo doesn't exist, you create it; if a gap exists, you close it

Every Snowflake employee is expected to follow the company’s confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data. Compensation & Benefits
  • $240,000 - $280,000 OTE

  • Snowflake offers competitive base salary, variable compensation, equity, and comprehensive benefits including 401(k), health/dental/vision, flexible PTO, and professional development budget.

Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
