We’re looking for someone who loves solving complex MarTech challenges, takes pride in the precision of what they build, and collaborates effortlessly with clients and teams.

What will your day look like?

As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will serve as the technical lead across client engagements, bridging business strategy with hands-on technical architecture, implementation, and quality assurance. You will own complex technical workstreams end-to-end leading discovery, translating measurement and business requirements into scalable architectures across Adobe Target, Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Real-Time CDP, Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), and modern tag management platforms.

  • Technical Discovery & Solution Design: Lead technical discovery and requirements-gathering sessions with developers, analysts, marketers, and product teams. Document comprehensive solution designs, technical requirements, implementation approaches, and system dependencies while proactively identifying risks and limitations.
  • Adobe Target & Experimentation Engineering: Build, implement, and QA A/B and multivariate tests in Adobe Target using the Visual Experience Composer (VEC), form-based activities, and custom code. Implement profile scripts, audience qualification logic, and Target Recommendations. Design measurement frameworks covering success metrics, guardrail metrics, sample size, test duration, and statistical significance.
  • Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) & Real-Time CDP Architecture: Architect and work with XDM schemas and dataset ingestion pipelines. Configure streaming, edge, and batch segmentation, audience evaluation, and downstream activation. Configure the AEP Identity Service, identity namespaces, and ECIDs to ensure accurate customer profile stitching.
  • AEP Web SDK Implementation: Lead hands-on implementation and configuration of Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK, datastreams, edge decisioning, and personalization. Monitor and debug network payloads and server responses to ensure accurate data flow into AEP datasets and downstream tools.
  • Tag Management & Data Layer Architecture: Architect, evaluate, and implement data layer designs across Adobe Launch/Tags and Google Tag Manager (GTM). Manage and troubleshoot rule conditions, custom extensions, data elements, and tag firing.
  • Full-Stack Client-Side Debugging: Trace data from the browser through the data layer, tag management, Adobe Edge/AEP, datasets, and downstream reporting or activation. Diagnose and fix complex issues involving JavaScript errors, cookies, local/session storage, identity stitching, event duplication, data loss, and reporting discrepancies.
  • Client Advisory & Technical Leadership: Act as a trusted technical lead on engagements. Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, present architectural recommendations, and constructively challenge requirements to balance business goals with technical feasibility and maintainability.
Who are you going to work with?
  • Direct Leadership: Reports to the Engineering Director or Practice Lead, Marketing Technology & Personalization.
  • Internal Capabilities: Partner closely with developers, analysts, data architects, QA engineers, and client engagement teams to deliver robust growth systems.
  • Clients & Stakeholders: Interface directly with client-side developers, digital analysts, product managers, marketing leads, and technical business stakeholders.
  • The Wider Network: Collaborate across specialized agency and capability teams within the broader WPP ecosystem.
What do you bring to the table?
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in marketing technology, web analytics, personalization, experimentation, or related technical consulting/engineering roles.
  • Consulting & Agency Background: Prior client-facing, consulting, or agency experience preferred, with proven ability to lead discovery sessions, present solutions, and manage technical communication.
  • Adobe Target & Experimentation:
  • Deep experience building, implementing, and QA’ing A/B and multivariate tests.
  • Hands-on proficiency with VEC, form-based activities, custom code activities, Target Recommendations, and profile scripts.
  • Understanding of experimentation methodology (testable hypotheses, success/guardrail metrics, sample size, test duration, and statistical significance).
  • Implementation familiarity via Adobe Launch/Tags, at.js, and/or AEP Web SDK.
  • Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) & Real-Time CDP:
  • Strong working knowledge of XDM schemas, dataset ingestion, and source/destination connections.
  • Experience with streaming, edge, and batch segmentation, audience evaluation, and activation.
  • In-depth understanding of the AEP Identity Service, identity namespaces, ECID, customer identifiers, and their impact on profile stitching.
  • Clear understanding of event data vs. profile attributes and when each should be applied.
  • AEP Web SDK Fluency:
  • Hands-on implementation and troubleshooting of AEP Web SDK, datastreams, identity, decisioning, and personalization.
  • Expertise troubleshooting event payloads and network requests using browser DevTools.
  • Tag Management & Data Layer Design:
