Senior Specialist, Production Planning

Job Description:

Entegris is seeking a Senior Specialist, Production Planner to join our Materials Management team at our Burnet, TX facility. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing production schedules that ensure on-time delivery while optimizing resources and minimizing costs. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to align production plans with customer demand and inventory targets.

This position has the opportunity to be hybrid (3 days in office, 2 at home) and to also work out of our office in Round Rock, TX one day a week, if preferred.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on sales orders, forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints

  • Partner with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components

  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to mitigate delays, shortages, and changes in demand

  • Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, logistics, and customer service to align production, inventory, and delivery goals

  • Maintain accurate planning data, schedules, and performance metrics

  • Support improvements in planning and scheduling processes to enhance efficiency and responsiveness

  • Communicate schedule updates, priorities, and risks clearly to key stakeholders

What We Seek:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in production planning or manufacturing operations

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-mix manufacturing environment

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and inventory management principles

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

  • SAP experience (PP and MM modules strongly preferred)

  • APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP)
