Job Scope
The Senior Supply Chain Analyst enables an end-to-end, analytics-driven planning environment across Demand, Supply, Inventory, and Excess & Obsolete (E&O) management. The role supports IBP and S&OE processes through advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and digital tools (SAP S/4HANA, SAP IBP, Power BI, AI/ML). Responsibilities include evaluating planning performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and driving data-based decisions to improve service, optimize inventory, and reduce E&O exposure.

SAP IBP Experience is Required.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Analyze demand forecasts, supply plans, inventory levels, and E&O exposure using statistical models, business inputs, market signals, and planning data to identify trends, risks, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.

  • Support a rolling 24-month Demand, Supply, Inventory, and Finance planning view through reporting, KPI analysis, and preparation for monthly planning reviews, S&OE, and IBP meetings.

  • Develop scenario planning for new product launches, lifecycle changes, demand events, supply constraints, inventory risks, E&O exposure, and cannibalization impacts.

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Field teams to streamline planning inputs and support timely, data-driven decisions.

  • Provide root-cause analysis, risk assessments, and recommendations tied to service, cost, cash flow, inventory, and operational performance.

  • Maintain records, reports, and presentations supporting planning performance, inventory health, E&O mitigation, and demand/supply shaping initiatives.

  • Manage KPIs such as forecast accuracy/bias, OTIF, backorders, inventory turns, coverage, E&O exposure, and planning adherence against financial and operational targets.

  • Drive continuous improvement of planning analytics, reporting automation, data visibility, and SAP IBP/Power BI capabilities in partnership with IT and business stakeholders.

  • Communicate planning insights, risks, and mitigation plans to cross-functional teams and leadership.

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across demand, supply, inventory, and E&O reporting, including AI/ML-generated outputs.

Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years of experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, inventory management, supply analytics, or related analytical roles, preferably within a regulated manufacturing environment such as medical devices, healthcare, or industrial manufacturing.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience in supply chain planning, demand/supply planning, inventory analytics, or related analytical roles with strong statistical and analytical skills.

  • Strong written/verbal communication, presentation, organizational, and time-management skills in fast-paced environments.

  • Ability to work independently, manage complex projects, and collaborate using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or SAP Analytics Cloud.

  • Experience in regulated manufacturing industries, preferably medical devices.

  • APICS/ASCM certification or related education/certification preferred.

  • Proficiency with ERP/planning systems (SAP S/4HANA, SAP IBP preferred), Excel, PowerPoint, forecasting models, and inventory strategies.

  • Working knowledge of AI/ML, predictive modeling, Python/R, or advanced analytics applications in supply chain.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Finance, Supply, Operations, and Field teams.

  • Strong understanding of forecasting, scenario analysis, and financial/operational impacts.

Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.
