Lead analysis and definition of business requirements and integration for complex systems supporting the Department of Homeland Security, collaborating with various teams to design effective solutions.
NextGen Federal Systems is seeking a Senior Systems Design & Requirements Analyst to lead the analysis and definition of business requirements and integration across complex, enterprise-level services and systems in support of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively coordinates, facilitates, and leads systems analysis, design, and definition, working very closely with customer staff and other DevSecOps team members (including business analyst (BAs), user interface/user experience (UI/UX) designers, engineers, technical leads) to design solutions that meet organizational business objectives.
- Develops a deep understanding of the functional and technical landscape of the customer organization and missions so they can effectively integrate solutions.
- Serves as consultants capable of helping customer business representatives and subject matter experts (SME) to understand the new capabilities and solutions that will meet business objectives.
- Leads the business requirements and integration and documentation of epics, user stories, end-to-end workflows for new development, and enhancement of existing functionality.
- Evaluates functional trends and provide recommendations for features and capabilities to meet business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (equivalent additional years of related experience may be substituted for degree).
- Eight (8) or more years of IT experience focusing on development projects
- Three (3) or years of experience working on DevSecOps projects.
- Has a strong understanding and work experience in business requirements and integration of complex, enterprise-level services and systems.
- Must be excellent collaborators and communicators who will comfortably and effectively work very closely with client and contractor staff.
