What are we looking for?

Hercules is looking for a technical, inbound, mid-market account executive to help us grow our paid mid-market customer base.

What is our current status?

We receive 100s of inbound leads each month and have 1000s of product qualified leads. The vast majority of leads are qualified. To date we have unfortunately been turning them away. We are only 7 people and haven't had the capacity to do sales. The job is literally shooting fish in a barrel. We just need a dedicated person to do it for us!

What skills do you need?

  • Own inbound leads from qualification to close

  • Research and close product-qualified opportunities

  • Run customer discovery to understand business needs and desired outcomes

  • Lead product demos

  • Navigate security, privacy, and procurement reviews

  • Build urgency, negotiate terms, and close deals

 

What skills do you need?

  • Proven closing experience: 2+ years closing B2B software deals, with a track record of hitting quota

  • Technical depth: Understand data models, APIs, permissions, and integrations

  • Business software fluency: Understand applications/modules within ERPs and CRMs, the business workflows they support

  • Experience with enterprise buying requirements: Comfortable discussing SOC 2, DPAs, GDPR, security reviews etc

  • Strong communication: Clear, simple, and audience-specific communication that's tied back to business outcomes

Is Hercules in-office or remote?

Hercules founding team works in-office in San Francisco (Kearny and Bush). We have a very strong preference for in office. We are open to remote for exceptional candidates who are willing to 1) work in US time zones and 2) travel to the office regularly.

What’s the compensation?

$125k-$300k OTE + equity (variable based on seniority, equity, and location)
