About the job

As a Senior Technical Account Manager, Public Sector, you’ll be responsible for planning and executing strategies that drive customer adoption and use of the Wiz platform across mission-critical civilian agencies, the Department of Defense, and the Defense Industrial Base.

Your cloud and security industry expertise will allow you to provide impactful guidance to customers throughout their Wiz onboarding and operationalization journey. Strong technical expertise and customer-facing skills will be essential in addressing the needs of our customers. Your understanding of how large organizations leverage cloud, security, and SaaS technologies will allow you to empathize with customer personas and drive effective conversations with customer personas at all levels.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor and Wiz platform expert throughout your customers’ journey, confidently guiding them through deployment, configuration, and operationalization using federal cloud-security best practices.
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison for your customers, driving the resolution of highly complex architectural and operational challenges across intricate federal cloud environments.

  • Translate complex federal cybersecurity mandates (e.g., Zero Trust architectures, Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM)) into actionable, technical deployment strategies within the Wiz platform.
  • Assist federal customers in navigating the Authority to Operate (ATO) and continuous monitoring processes by leveraging Wiz's compliance and reporting capabilities.
  • Act as the "Voice of the Federal Customer" internally, partnering closely with Product and Engineering teams to prioritize Wiz for Gov feature parity and advocate for government-specific platform enhancements.
