Own the design and delivery of incentive program management and provider activation capabilities for a value-based care platform. Define detailed workflows, data models, business rules, specifications, and edge cases; manage backlogs and delivery; collaborate with engineers, providers, practice staff, and senior stakeholders; and operate effectively amid ambiguity with globally distributed teams.

We're looking for a Principal Platform Product Manager to own two connected capability areas on our value-based care platform: incentive program management (how providers earn and track performance-based payments) and provider activation (how new providers and practices get onboarded and set up to use the platform). You'll likely take on additional capability areas over time, but these two are the immediate focus. This is a design-and-build role, not just a delivery-management one: you'll define how these capabilities should work in detail — data model, business rules, edge cases, user workflows — and then own getting them built and shipped. You should be comfortable holding the pen on a spec, not just reviewing someone else's.

Responsibilities:

• Own the capability design and definition for incentive program management: how programs are configured, how performance is calculated and tracked, and how results are communicated to providers.

• Own the capability design and definition for provider activation: how new providers and practices are onboarded, provisioned, and set up to use the platform.

• Design and document the details yourself — workflows, business rules, edge cases, data requirements — rather than handing off a one-line requirement and waiting for engineering to fill in the gaps.

• Manage delivery end-to-end: write specs, groom the backlog, track progress, and unblock engineering day to day.

• Work directly with engineers and end users (providers and practice staff) to make sure designs solve the real problem, including going back to first principles when something doesn't add up.

• Operate effectively in ambiguity — move work forward when requirements are incomplete, and flag what's still undecided rather than guessing silently.

• Manage scope conversations with stakeholders across levels, from engineers to senior leadership.

• Partner with globally distributed engineering teams, including regular early-morning collaboration to overlap with offshore working hours.

• Take on additional platform capability areas as they're assigned.

Requirements
  • 6+ years in product management, with experience owning a capability or product area end-to-end (not just contributing to someone else's roadmap).
  • Demonstrated ability to define detailed product requirements yourself — you can write a spec that engineering can build from without much back-and-forth.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and making progress without a complete spec.
  • A “doer” mindset: hands-on with details, workflows, and edge cases, not just program management.
  • Experience working with globally distributed / offshore engineering teams and the schedule flexibility that requires.
  • Strong written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred:

• Experience in healthcare technology, particularly value-based care, risk adjustment, or quality measurement (e.g., HEDIS, Stars).

• Experience with provider-facing onboarding, credentialing, or activation workflows.

• Experience with incentive, performance, or payment program design.
