ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to drive quality and innovation across messaging experiences on a large-scale job marketplace, covering mobile app and desktop web surfaces for job seekers and employers. You will design AI-powered messaging features, improve responsiveness through reply prompts and re-engagement patterns, and create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups validated through A/B testing and user research.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Improve the quality of messaging experiences across job seeker mobile app and desktop web surfaces, covering both job seeker and employer experiences.
- Design UX for AI-powered messaging features.
- Design experiences that improve employer and job seeker responsiveness through reply prompts, expectation setting, status transparency, and re-engagement patterns.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, user journeys, and high-fidelity mockups using the platform's design language and patterns.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Research partners across distributed teams.
- Validate designs through A/B testing and qualitative user research.

MUST HAVES
- You must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the US (e.g., Green card holders, TN visa holders, GC EAD, H4 EAD, U4U with EAD), as we are unable to sponsor or take over employment visa sponsorship at this time;
- 3+ years of professional, hands-on product UX experience.
- End-to-end product UX design experience, including interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and user journeys demonstrated through a portfolio.
- Experience designing complex workflow or data-heavy enterprise experiences, such as search, filtering, or data export.
- Strong, current proficiency in Figma.
- Experience with prototyping and design handoff workflows.
- Ability to work independently and ramp up quickly with minimal oversight.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Research, and Legal teams.
- Experience integrating UX research insights and iterating based on user feedback.
- Upper-intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES
- Messaging, inbox, communications, or notifications product experience.
- Accessibility expertise, including familiarity with WCAG and designing for assistive technology.
- Experience with international or localized products, especially the Japanese market.
- Mobile-first design experience.
- Experience with A/B testing programs.
- Prior contractor or embedded-team experience at a large product organization.
