Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced data-driven content professional for the role of SEO Content Manager to drive performance and innovation across our organization. This role will work alongside other content managers, editors, and the core SEO team. You'll combine content strategy, hands-on content creation, AEO/GEO content expertise, and data-driven decision-making to grow and optimize our Strategic Content portfolio. This work will be done in collaboration with other organic acquisition channels, including social media and YouTube. The ideal candidate will be an analytical thinker with experience developing compelling editorial and executing scalable cross-functional initiatives that maximize leverage and drive content excellence and business growth.
To be successful in this role, you'll excel at creating compelling, SEO/AEO/GEO-optimized contentthat serves both SEO and business objectives while genuinely engaging users. You will use data analysis, competitive research, strategic thinking, and creativity to identify optimization opportunities and content gaps. You will also collaborate across teams and find opportunities for innovation, experimentation, and leverage to maximize your impact.
Responsibilities:
  • Performance manage the Strategic Content portfolio to defend and grow traffic and engagement.
  • Analyze content performance and optimization efforts using multiple data sources and visualization tools to identify & action opportunities.
  • Translate data insights into actionable content strategies and recommendations.
  • Execute new content initiatives based on the evolving search landscape and emerging AEO/GEO opportunities.
  • Apply storytelling expertise and deep customer empathy to create high-quality, SEO-optimized content in a variety of formats that aligns with the company's strategic goals and engages our target audience.
  • Maximize strategic content leverage across teams, channels, and initiatives, ensuring content drives value beyond organic search.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of SEO content management experience in a mid- to large-scale consumer-facing business
  • Demonstrated experience working on large-scale content portfolios and SEO optimization projects
  • Demonstrated experience developing and optimizing content for AEO/GEO
  • Proven ability to perform actionable analyses and translate data insights into strategic content decisions
  • Demonstrated writing and editorial experience, with a deep understanding of SEO principles and best practices

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword optimization, and content performance metrics
  • Familiarity with content management systems and editorial workflows
  • Experience with video-first SEO, LLM optimization, and emerging search technologies
  • Experience with enterprise data analysis tools and visualization platforms (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Looker)
  • Experience working in global organizations and supporting international SEO initiatives
  • Background in education or career development content

Compensation
This role is available in the following US Pay Zones:
US Zone 3: $114,400 - $143,000
US Zone 4: $106,400 - $133,000
