Job Description

Job Role:

Provide technical project management expertise to service-oriented architecture (SOA), Business Process Extension Language (BPEL), Oracle Service Bus (OSB), Business Activity Monitor (BAM), Business Process Management (BPM), Splunk platform engineering and operations team. Responsible for technical implementation, administration, and coordination with the product vendor (Oracle, IBM, Splunk) for resolution of product related issues. Keep the SOA shared platform remains stable and available with least interruption and impact to business. Take preventive and corrective actions to ensure platform availability and stability. Manage Scrums meetings and keep track of stories been planned and delivered accordingly.

Deep knowledge and hands on experience on Puppet

  • Puppet installation and register of nodes
  • Create puppet modules from scratch
  • Worked on to create/expose puppet API’s
  • Worked on to setup and configure puppet ecosystem (PE console, puppetDB, Mcollective, Facter etc.)

Qualifications

Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, Engineering or related field of study
  • 6-10 years of experience

Required Skills:

  • Requires demonstrated experience with Agile, Scrumban, and Kanban
  • Service-oriented architecture (SOA) platform - Java, Shell Scripting, Python scripting, Oracle Database, BPEL, OSB, SQL, PL/SQL, and Splunk.
  • Exposure to Cloud technologies – Azure, VMware etc, DevOps – Puppet (Hiera , MCollective, Facter) is mandatory.
