Position Summary: 

Therabody is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to join our growing social team. In this role, you’ll manage multiple projects simultaneously, including daily calendar management, quick-turn social capture, asset organization and publishing, and community engagement across key platforms. 


This role reports to the Social Media Director and works cross-functionally with the influencer, creative, science & education, and customer service teams to grow reach, engagement, and community trust. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist and creator. We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes social, understands social media trends, and knows how to translate innovation and education into scroll-stopping content. 
 
Key Responsibilities 

  • Actively monitor, respond to, and engage with our community across all social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Reddit, and YouTube), including comments, DMs, tags, and trending conversations 
  • Respond to customer comments, questions, and DMs with empathy, speed, and accuracy 
  • Monitor community conversations to identify opportunities for engagement and brand advocacy 
  • Foster and manage our Reddit community in partnership with customer service and our science + education teams to ensure accurate, helpful, and brand-aligned responses 
  • Work with the Director of Social to test and execute new content strategies that drive engagement, growth, and awareness 
  • Identify quick turn culture-driven opportunities to support the calendar. 
  • Assist in developing weekly content calendars tied to launches, campaigns, and platform trends 
  • Manage social publishing across core platforms, ensuring voice, visuals, and timing align with brand and campaign strategy 
  • Source user-generated content (UGC) and creator talent aligned with brand standards and campaign needs 
  • Develop clear, engaging content briefs for our creator community 
  • Film and edit short-form social content as needed, both independently and collaboratively 
  • Conduct ongoing research into platform trends, emerging creators, and cultural conversations  


Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field 
  • 2-3 years of experience in social media or digital content 
  • Deep understanding of social trends and platform behavior 
  • Comfortable on camera and experienced filming/editing short-form video 
  • Strong writing skills and ability to adapt tone across platforms 
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail  
  • Familiarity with analytics and scheduling tools (Dash Hudson) 
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva, or similar tools is a plus 
  • Collaborative mindset and comfort working cross-functionally 
  • Passion for wellness, beauty, recovery, and innovative technologies that help people feel better
