About the role
Manage the day-to-day delivery of social media campaigns, ensuring consistent, highquality execution across multiple client accounts. The Social Media Manager is responsible for planning, publishing, monitoring, and optimising content across platforms, helping to deliver measurable outcomes that align with client objectives and Gravity 
Global’s social strategy.
This role balances creative thinking, data-driven decision-making, and operational precision. It requires hands-on platform expertise, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to collaboration with internal teams and clients. 
The role also requires awareness of global trends and the ability to adapt content for diverse international markets.

Key Responsibilities
Campaign Planning & Delivery
• Plan, schedule, and execute content across social channels in line with client goals and campaign strategies.
• Work with Senior Managers and the Social Media Lead to translate strategies into actionable plans and content calendars.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of client tone, audience, and market trends.
• Ensure all output is on-brand, on-message, and optimised for platform best practices.
• Support influencer partnerships, community management, and audience engagement activity as required.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
• Track campaign performance using analytics and social listening tools.
• Produce clear, accurate reports with insights and recommendations for optimisation.
• Monitor conversations and engagement, responding in accordance with client community management guidelines.
• Identify and escalate risks or opportunities promptly to senior team members.
Client & Stakeholder Management
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with client contacts.
• Attend client meetings and present updates or performance insights as needed.
• Collaborate closely with Creative, Paid Media, Analytics, and Client Services teams to ensure cohesive campaign delivery.
• Contribute ideas and feedback to help clients improve performance and achieve business objectives.
• Provide strategic input and actionable recommendations to enhance client outcomes and strengthen campaign performance.
Content Development & Collaboration
• Partner with designers, copywriters, and the creative team to brief and review social-first content.
• Apply a data-led approach to content recommendations and channel strategies.
• Ensure all content meets Gravity Global’s standards of quality, accuracy, and compliance.
• Participate in creative brainstorms and contribute fresh, innovative ideas.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
• Stay informed on emerging social trends, formats, and technologies.
• Suggest new ways to improve efficiency, content performance, and workflow.
• Support testing of new tools, features, and automation initiatives within the social practice.
• Proactively identify emerging social media trends, tools, and formats to keep clients at the forefront of digital innovation.

Other Duties

• Ensure adherence to company policies and processes, including project tracking and time management.
• Support new business pitches, case study creation, and internal marketing initiatives when required.
• Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and positive team culture.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • 4–6 years’ experience in social media management or digital marketing.
  • Proven track record in managing content delivery and community engagement for brands.
  • Experience working with analytics, scheduling, and listening tools.
  • Exposure to client communication and campaign reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Creative, Operations, Analytics, and Client Services.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong copywriting, proofreading, and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable analysing data and turning insights into recommendations.
  • Effective communicator across teams and levels.
  • Creative and adaptable, with an understanding of visual and written brand expression.
  • Strong understanding of social media trends, content formats, and algorithmic impact on performance.
  • Accountable, reliable, and proactive in managing workload and deadlines.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented, with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Curious and eager to learn, with awareness of evolving social and digital trends.
Calm under pressure and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Desirable
  • Experience in paid social or influencer activation.
  • Familiarity with automation, AI, or performance optimisation tools.
  • Basic design or editing capability using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud.
