We are seeking a creative, data-driven, and highly strategic Senior Social Media Manager to elevate our global brand presence. In this role, your primary goals will be to drive audience engagement and rapidly grow our follower base through the production of original, social-first video content and strategic influencer partnerships.

You will serve as the creative heartbeat of our social channels, leading the direction of all social media content production while balancing the analytical side of the role to prove ROI. If you thrive in a fast-paced SaaS B2B environment, have a passion for storytelling in the construction space, and know how to capture an audience's attention at massive live events like Groundbreak, we want you on our team.

This position reports into the Director of Content and will be based in our Austin TX office. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy designed to exponentially grow followers and increase engagement, primarily through compelling, social-first video content.

  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner closely with internal teams—including Brand, PR, and Product—to manage the social distribution of corporate announcements, PR initiatives, and product launches, ensuring they align with broader business needs and social media goals.

  • Evangelize Social Value: Build and maintain a clear, data-driven methodology for effectively communicating the impact, ROI, and strategic value of social media to executive leadership.

  • Lead Influencer Marketing: Build, manage, and scale our influencer marketing programs, identifying and partnering with key industry voices to amplify our brand reach and credibility.

  • Direct Creative Production: Lead the creative direction for all social media content production, ensuring high-quality outputs across video, still photography, and graphic design that align with our brand identity.

  • Manage & Mentor: Act as a mentor to our internal content team members, while also overseeing external social and creative agencies to ensure seamless execution of campaigns.

  • Own the Budget: Manage the global social media budget, allocating resources efficiently across production, agencies, influencer partnerships, and paid social boosts.

  • Analyze & Optimize: Act as the ultimate owner of social data. Utilize Sprout Social to pull metrics, interpret complex data into actionable insights, and pivot strategies based on performance results.

  • Live Event Activation: Lead the on-the-ground social media strategy and execution for major live events and trade shows, most notably our annual conference, Groundbreak.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in social media management, specifically within SaaS B2B marketing.

  • Industry Knowledge: A background or strong working knowledge of the construction industry is extremely helpful and strongly preferred.

  • Content & Creative: A proven portfolio of driving engagement through original video content and a strong eye for visual creative direction (video, stills, and graphics).

  • Influencer Expertise: Demonstrated success in launching and managing B2B influencer or brand ambassador programs.

  • Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Experience managing external agency partners, departmental budgets, and collaborating seamlessly across PR, Brand, and Product departments.

  • Executive Communication: Proven ability to translate social metrics into a broader business narrative to showcase value to senior leadership.

  • Technical Tools: Deep familiarity and hands-on expertise with Sprout Social for scheduling, social listening, and reporting.

  • Analytical Mindset: Excellent ability to digest raw data, interpret results, and translate those findings into clear, strategic recommendations.

  • Event Agility: Proven experience managing real-time social media content production in fast-paced, live event environments.
