  • Support customers in debugging and resolving SmarTest software and system‑level issues across engineering and production environments.
  • Clearly document and communicate complex test concepts through technical documentation and customer‑facing presentations.
  • Train customers on new software and hardware capabilities released by R&D and Advantest Application Development Centers.
  • Collaborate closely with COE, R&D, and global SAE teams to translate customer requirements into robust solutions for high‑power and high‑speed applications.
  • Actively represent Advantest’s technical strengths, solution positioning, and roadmap direction in customer engagements.
  • Support pre‑sales and NPI activities, including customer presentations, benchmark projects, requirement analysis, and competitive evaluations.
Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with the Advantest V93000 platform.
  • Solid understanding of wafer sort methodologies, KGD, and production test flows.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, scripts(Python/Perl) and C/C++.
  • Understanding of test quality metrics such as correlation, CP, CPK, and related data analysis techniques.
  • Demonstrated personal leadership, ownership mindset, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proven project execution and coordination skills.
  • Experience or exposure to pre‑sales activities or technical customer leadership.
  • Working knowledge of MBIST, Logic BIST, Scan over PCIe, eFuse, iJTAG.

Preferred:

  • Hands‑on experience with SmarTest 8, preferably one year or more.
  • Strong expertise in 93k digital testing, including vector debug, shmoo analysis, pin margining, and timing debug.
  • Experience writing test‑time‑efficient programs for high‑volume production.
  • Familiarity with multi‑core CPU / AI / server device test methodologies.
  • Experience with high‑power device testing, including power delivery networks and related challenges.
