We are seeking an experienced Software Developer with strong expertise in Visual Studio Code, .NET Core, Visual Studio/.NET, SQL Server, React, Angular, CI/CD, API development, and secure software engineering to join our growing development team. This is a hands-on role focused on designing, developing, and maintaining modern, scalable, cloud-native applications that support high-volume transactional systems.

The ideal candidate has a strong software engineering background, is passionate about writing clean, maintainable code, and has experience integrating security into the software development lifecycle using tools such as Fortify and Harness.

Required skills

  • 4–6+ years of professional software development experience using C#/.NET Framework and .NET Core/.NET 6+.
  • Strong proficiency using Visual Studio Code and Visual Studio for application development.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and enterprise web applications.
  • Strong experience with SQL Server, including:
    • Database design
    • Stored procedures
    • Query optimization
    • Performance tuning
  • Experience developing modern web applications using:
    • React
    • Angular
    • HTML5
    • CSS3
    • JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as:
    • Azure DevOps
    • GitHub Actions
    • Jenkins
    • Harness
  • Proficient in GitHub Copilot AI and other AI tools
  • Experience using Fortify or similar Static Application Security Testing (SAST) tools to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
  • Experience with Git, GitHub, and modern source control workflows.
  • Understanding of secure software development practices (DevSecOps).
  • Experience developing cloud-native applications following 12-Factor App principles.
  • Solid knowledge of:
    • Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
    • Design Patterns
    • SOLID Principles
    • Algorithms and data structures
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Familiarity with financial or banking systems.
  • Experience with cloud migration and tools such as Azure or APIGEE.
  • Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools, such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Functional Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to clarify requirements from U.S.-based stakeholders, ensuring alignment with technical and business goals.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET Core, C#, React, and Angular.
  • Build scalable, secure, and high-performing RESTful APIs.
  • Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, indexes, and queries.
  • Create responsive and modern user interfaces using React and Angular.
  • Utilize Visual Studio Code and Visual Studio to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
  • Develop cloud-native services adhering to 12-Factor App principles.
  • Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs using JSON over HTTPS for high-volume transactional systems.
  • Optimize and tune database performance across relational (e.g., SQL Server) and non-relational (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) platforms.
  • Perform unit testing, cross-testing, and debugging to deliver high-quality, production-ready code.
  • Employ advanced CI/CD and DevSecOps practices, ensuring efficient and secure software delivery pipelines.
  • Analyze and resolve complex technical issues in a high-pressure environment.
  • Mentor junior developers and support team members in task completion and technical problem-solving.
  • Conduct research and share knowledge on emerging technologies and best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education or Certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation and drug test as part of the selection process.
