About the role

We are looking for an intern to work on one of our amazing teams!

  • Web development
  • Backend development
  • DevOps

  • Edge software (includes integration with other systems and automation of microscopy scanners)

This is a full-time, 90-day internship with the potential for extension into a part-time internship based on performance and business needs. While we encourage current college students to apply, we welcome applications from any qualified candidates seeking to launch their careers in this field. 

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of software in support of our products and customers
  • Debug and resolve issues in existing services
  • Participate in scale testing, optimization, and other efforts to improve system performance, reliability, and user and developer satisfaction
  • Assist in automating processes, workflows, and tests

What makes you the ideal candidate

  • Senior Year in a BS Computer Science or equivalent program
  • Excellent coding skills with ReactJS, Golang, Python, or something similar
  • Current with modern dev tools and methodologies such as agile development, AI-assisted development, git, bug trackers, team chats, and remote work
  • Ability to debug and optimize complex systems to improve speed or other costs
  • Experience with testing methodologies

These skills are desired for some positions but are not required:

  • Ability to interface with SQL databases
  • Willingness to work with docker (previous experience is a plus)
  • Experience with linear algebra and/or numpy

Work from Home

While we do have offices available for use, the majority of our workforce spends most, if not all, of their time working from the comfort of their home. Every team has regular standup meetings to touch base with their team and a monthly all-hands meeting for the whole company to get updates. Additional meetings are created as needed, and the majority are impromptu.
