Software Engineering, SMTS / Senior Software Engineer (multiple positions available)
Salesforce Inc. has multiple job openings for Software Engineering, SMTS / Senior Software Engineer in Dallas, TX:
Job Duties: Design and implement new capabilities to clean, combine, and reshape data. Build a state-of-the-art front end utilizing the full capabilities of modern technologies and tools. Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Drive and take full ownership of the end-to-end quality of the code deployed to production. Promote code quality by writing clean, readable, maintainable, modular, and efficient code. Resolve customer bugs and support issues in a timely manner. Part-time telecommuting is an option. Hybrid work from Dallas, TX Salesforce office.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or related field of study, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in related field OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or related field of study, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or in any occupation in related field.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Deep knowledge of object oriented programming; (2) Java or Python; (3) JavaScript; (4) HTML and CSS; (5) Relational database schema design; (6) Automated testing; (7) Functional testing; (8) Experience building highly scalable web applications; (9) AWS, GCP, or Azure. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Part-time telecommuting is an option. Hybrid work from Dallas, TX Salesforce office.
