Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering SMTS in Austin, TX:

Job Duties: Work with engineers on the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of important infrastructure services. Architect, design, develop, and maintain key software automation components. Continuously raise the standard of engineering excellence by implementing best practices for coding, testing, and deployment. Provide technical and architectural leadership in a global and diverse organization. Automate, optimize, and drive efficiency of effort, code, and process. Resolve complex technical issues and drive innovations that improve system availability, resilience, and performance. Create, maintain, and share technical documentation used by engineers and other team members. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) CI/CD; (2) GitHub; (3) Phabricator; (4) JIRA; (5) Jenkins; (6) Ansible; (7) Packer; (8) Puppet; (9) Vagrant; (10) AWS; (11) OpenStack; and (12) VMware. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
