DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the services of one or more Software Test Analysts, hereafter referred to as Worker(s), who meets the general qualifications of ITSAC Software Test Analysts 3 Category, Emerging Technology Type and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC).
All work products resulting from the project shall be considered “works made for hire” and are the property of the HHSC.  HHSC may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Workers) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by the Texas law. HHSC will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Worker(s).
Duties include:A. Test and deploy web services and Java code resulting from the SRS and defects.B. Interface with other HHSC/DADS development groups to ensure customer support provided as required.C. Provide after-hours support.D. Define, document and develop business processes and develop business requirements for automated systems.E. Assist in researching and developing specifications for automated systems.F. Develop and review project documentation, including technical requirements, training materials, deliverables, project plans and schedules, testing scenarios.G. Coordinate with IT project technical leads, HHSC/DADS program and other subject-matter experts, contractor representatives, and other State agency representatives as required to ensure necessary tasks, deliverables and timelines are completed.H. Participate in test planning to help ensure successful project implementation, including development of test scenarios and actual testing when needed. I. Perform meeting and/or presentation preparation tasks as needed (e.g., prepare or oversee preparation of and provide agendas and pre-meeting materials as well as follow-up notes, post meeting materials, assignment follow-up and related activities).
