Job Description• Test and deploy web services and Java code resulting from the SRS and defects.
• Interface with other HHSC/DADS development groups to ensure customer support provided as required.
• Provide after-hours support.
• Other duties as assigned
QualificationsSkills Required:
• Experience in IT and the application development life cycle
• Experience in Unix programming development
• Experience in Web Sphere development
• Experience in Java and JSF programming development
• Experience in Oracle/Sybase programming development
• Experience in Hibernate programming development
• Experience in performing rigorous test case scenarios
• Experience with GUI (Desktop and Web)
• Web services programming experience
• Previous experience in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software
• Experience in automated test scripts and architectures for application products
• Experience in developing rigorous test plans and test case scenarios using UML or similar technology
• Experience with customer service
• Experience providing after-hours support
• Experience developing rigorous Unit Test scripts
• Experience creating application builds and working with code versioning tools
• Experience in Informatica development
• Experience in system test cases
• Experience developing application systems that are Section 08 compliant
Additional InformationSkills Preferred:
• Experience working in a State/Federal government environment.
• Experience with HHSC/DADS programs a plus.
