Job Description

Test and deploy web services and Java code resulting from the SRS and defects.

Interface with other HHSC/DADS development groups to ensure customer support provided as required.

Provide after-hours support.

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Skills Required:

Experience in IT and the application development life cycle

Experience in Unix programming development

Experience in Web Sphere development

Experience in Java and JSF programming development

Experience in Oracle/Sybase programming development

Experience in Hibernate programming development

Experience in performing rigorous test case scenarios

Experience with GUI (Desktop and Web)

Web services programming experience

Previous experience in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software

Experience in automated test scripts and architectures for application products

Experience in developing rigorous test plans and test case scenarios using UML or similar technology

Experience with customer service

Experience providing after-hours support

Experience developing rigorous Unit Test scripts

Experience creating application builds and working with code versioning tools

Experience in Informatica development

Experience in system test cases

Experience developing application systems that are Section 08 compliant

Additional Information

Skills Preferred:

Experience working in a State/Federal government environment.

Experience with HHSC/DADS programs a plus.
