Lead the technical side of SAP sales cycles by conducting discovery, delivering tailored demos, designing solution architectures, addressing technical objections, and managing proofs of concept through technical decisions. Partner with SAP architects, IT leaders, executives, product teams, and forward-deployed engineers across S/4HANA, ECC, BTP, RISE, and Clean Core environments.
This is a remote position.
The role:
Axiamatic is hiring two Solution Engineers to support SAP deals. You are the technical lead on the sales side. You run
discovery, deliver demos, design the proposed solution, and own proofs of concept through to a technical decision.
A Forward Deployed Engineer works with you on POC execution. You own the scope, the process, and the customer
relationship.
We are hiring from the SAP ecosystem. The technical discussions in these deals go deep. Candidates without a direct SAP
background will not be a fit.

• Deliver demos tailored to the customer’s SAP landscape.
• Design the proposed architecture and integration approach.
• Handle technical objections and support security and architecture reviews.
• Scope, lead, and close proofs of concept, including success criteria, timeline, and readout. An FDE supports execution.
• Lead technical discussions across S/4HANA, ECC, BTP, RISE, and Clean Core.
• Report field patterns, objections, and product gaps to product and engineering.
Requirements
• 5+ years in the SAP ecosystem. This can be SAP itself, a systems integrator or implementation partner, or an SAP-adjacent
ISV.
• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA and ECC. Working knowledge of BTP, RISE, and Clean Core.
• Customer-facing experience in pre-sales, solution architecture, or advisory work.
• Experience supporting active sales cycles.
• Experience leading a POC or pilot from scoping through technical decision.
• Able to work with technical architects and with business executives.
• Willing to travel to customer sites as deals require.
Preferred
• SAP certifications such as S/4HANA or BTP.
• Brownfield-to-greenfield migration or Clean Core transformation experience.
• Experience working with an embedded or forward-deployed engineering team.
• Experience with AI tooling deployed on an SAP landscape.
