Solutions Architect – PC High Performance Mixed-Signal Products (NS-50025228)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Technical Engagements: Partner with strategic SoC and OEM partners to define and deliver compelling, technically differentiated PC audio solutions.
- Develop and Evangelize Architectures: Create innovative system-level architectures that integrate Cirrus silicon to enable new PC features and use cases.
- Prototype and Demo Creation: Build PoCs, demos, or optimized use cases to win key design-ins with ecosystem partners.
- Ecosystem Collaboration: Work closely with SoC partners (Intel, AMD, Qualcomm, Nvidia, etc.) and Microsoft to align technical roadmaps and ensure seamless platform integration.
- Roadmap and Requirements Definition: Capture and document system-level requirements (PRDs) and provide clear inputs to product line and roadmap architects.
- Training and Enablement: Conduct technical workshops and training for partners and internal field teams to scale Cirrus technology adoption.
- Solutions Engineering Partnership: Collaborate with Solutions Engineers to ensure reference and customer board architectures align with SoC partner platforms.
- Thought Leadership: Stay current on industry trends and provide recommendations to influence Cirrus’ PC product and feature strategies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in system architecture, hardware/software integration, or solutions engineering roles within the PC, semiconductor, or consumer electronics industries.
- Deep understanding of PC audio subsystems, SoC architecture, and Windows audio frameworks.
- Proven track record working with laptop OEMs, SoC vendors, and ecosystem partners.
- Strong technical communication and relationship-building skills across diverse engineering and business teams.
- Hands-on experience developing and debugging PoCs or hardware reference designs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with SoC, APO and MSFT, audio architectures
- Experience collaborating with Intel, AMD, Qualcomm, or Nvidia PC platform teams.
- Background in system-level performance optimization, low-power design, or mixed-signal audio systems.
- Ability to create and deliver technical collateral and training content.
