About the Role

We are seeking a visionary and authoritative Solutions Architect to set the technical solution and architectural strategy for Federated Computing AI across our customer base and product development. You will act as a trusted technical expert, defining architectural standards, providing thought leadership, and serving as a primary technical advisor for strategic accounts. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Forward Deployed Engineering, and Product teams, and provide technical leadership and mentorship to the broader Delivery team to ensure excellence in architectural integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define a technical vision, architectural best practices, and repeatable patterns for the deployment of the Rhino Federated Computing Platform.
  • Act as an escalation point for the Delivery team, helping to resolve the complex technical and architectural challenges.
  • Provide technical thought leadership to technical and senior technical client stakeholders, contributing to the shaping of their long-term AI and data strategy and acting as a trusted advisor on complex architectural decisions.
  • Oversee the development of foundational, reusable reference architectures and deployment best practices that scale for Rhino’s solution portfolio.
  • Showcase the Rhino value proposition through presentations, meetings, and written artifacts in coordination with the Rhino sales and product teams.
  • Create customer-specific documents, presentations, guides, and blogs demonstrating advanced capabilities of the Rhino platform.
  • Scope, and at times execute pilots for highly complex customer engagements and nurture strong customer relationships during the product evaluation and review process.
  • Provide critical feedback and collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to address customer issues with a focus on strategic product improvements.
Required Skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Effective presentation and demonstration skill and ability to translate business and technical concepts for all types of audiences, including senior executives.
  • 8-10+ years of progressive experience in technical architecture and engineering roles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in large-scale, complex system design and architecture, with a proven track record of setting technical direction and successfully launching enterprise-grade platforms.
  • A history of successfully influencing product roadmap through synthesis of customer requirements and market trends.
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud, Data Platform, or AI platform technologies.
  • Experience in delivering live prototypes using platform products.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple complex customer needs simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
  • Deep AI Workflow Knowledge - Modeling, Instruction Tuning, Fine tuning, and Inference.
  • Data Engineering stack.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and Dockers.
  • Healthcare, Life Sciences, or Financial Services domain experience.
  • Degree in a quantitative field, with computer science or engineering.
Location 

Rhino HQ is located in Boston, however candidates from all over the USA are encouraged to apply as they can work remotely.
