At Moxie, we empower ambitious aesthetic entrepreneurs to build profitable, independent practices—without burnout, overwhelm, or guesswork. In just a few years, we've grown from an idea to a global, remote-first team now supporting 700+ practices nationwide.

Our purpose is simple: to unlock sustainable success for aesthetic entrepreneurs, at every stage of their journey.

Migrations & Solutions Engineering Lead

About the Role

This role owns Moxie’s migrations function end-to-end—from pre-sale scoping through go-live—and serves as the primary client contact throughout. We’re looking for someone who thinks like a solutions engineer and executes like a migrations leader: technically credible, client-facing by nature, and able to build systems that scale. Regular travel to provider practices is required. Strong preference for ET or CT time zones.

What You’ll Do

  • Own migrations end-to-end: Primary client contact from scoping through go-live across 30+ EMR systems including Boulevard, Jane, Zenoti, Vagaro, and Aesthetic Record.

  • Build scalable systems: Design data mapping guides, QA checklists, kickoff frameworks, and edge-case libraries that reduce rework and lower time-to-migration.

  • Drive the metrics: Own the KPI dashboard (timeliness, accuracy, throughput, CSAT) and capacity planning model by EMR type and account tier.

  • Develop the team: Coach direct reports with structured feedback and build a team that grows more autonomous as complexity rises.

  • Influence product: Turn migration patterns and failure modes into prioritized input for Engineering and Product.

We’re Looking For

  • SE mindset, migrations depth: You scope before you execute. You know that discovery quality determines migration quality.

  • Exceptional client-facing communication: Clear and confident written and verbal communicator across non-technical providers and internal engineering teams alike.

  • Technical credibility: Comfortable reading data exports, spotting errors, and holding your own in conversations with engineers and Sales in the same afternoon.

  • Migrations or implementation leadership: High-volume, client-facing migrations experience—ideally at a SaaS, healthtech, or EHR/EMR company. SE or pre-sales scoping experience a bonus.

  • People developer: Specific examples of developmental feedback, growth plans, and coaching—not just task delegation.

  • Cross-functional influence: Track record of aligning Engineering, Product, or Sales without direct authority.

  • Willing to travel: Regular on-site visits to provider practices across the U.S., typically a few times per quarter.

Why Join Us

  • Greenfield leadership: Build the function from the ground up—the playbook, the processes, the team. Your fingerprints will be on it.

  • Real scope and visibility: Every provider who joins Moxie goes through migrations. You sit at the table across Ops, Engineering, Product, Practice Success, and Sales.

  • High complexity, fast learning: New EMR integrations and edge cases every quarter. If you get energized by figuring things out, this role delivers.

  • Space to lead people for real: A small, high-performing team with the autonomy to develop them—not just keep them busy.

At Moxie, we believe in creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, trusted, and included. Our team lives by our values: act as owners, give more than we take, move with speed and care, and simplify and learn every day.

We welcome people of all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to apply. If you require any accommodations to fully participate in the interview process, please let us know, we’re happy to assist.
