Description

The Brydon Group is a Washington D.C.-based private equity firm that partners with outstanding mid-career executives to acquire business-to-business (B2B), business-to-government (B2G), and healthcare software and services businesses. Brydon is currently investing out of its Fund III, which closed in July 2025.

Our portfolio companies are hiring Sales Interns for Spring 2027. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn full-cycle sales at a growing B2B company not a shadowing role. You'll get real accounts, real quota exposure, and direct mentorship from the sales team.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Support outbound prospecting - research target accounts, build lists, and help craft outreach sequences
  • Assist with discovery calls and take notes to sharpen your understanding of the sales process
  • Maintain CRM hygiene: log activity, update deal stages, keep pipeline data clean
  • Help track and report on outreach metrics (response rates, meetings booked, conversion)
  • Shadow account executives on calls and debrief on what worked and what didn't
  • Support light market research and competitive intelligence as needed

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate student, expected graduation between December 2027 and Spring 2028
  • Available to work Spring 2027 (part-time during the semester or full-time, depending on portfolio company need)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with repetitive, high-volume tasks (calls, emails, data entry) - this is an activity-heavy role early on
  • Detail-oriented, especially around CRM data and follow-up
  • Coachable and eager to take feedback - no prior sales experience required, but interest in sales/business is a plus
  • Competitive, self-motivated, and comfortable in a fast-moving, lean environment

What We Look For Across All Roles

  • Outcomes-driven, not activity-driven
  • Metrics-minded and honest about performance
  • Coachable but excited to take ownership and drive execution even in ambiguous environments
  • Thrives in lean, fast-moving environments
  • Proven track record - not just potential

Benefits

Location & Compensation

  • Location and hours will be portfolio company specific
  • Compensation is expected to range from $18 to $20 per hour, depending on portfolio company and location
