About the Role:

The Sr. Account Manager owns and grows a portfolio of regional and mid-sized retail pharmacy partnerships, driving profitable claims growth and market share expansion. This role is responsible for developing account strategies, deepening executive relationships, and leading cross-functional initiatives that deliver measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and deepen relationships with regional and mid-sized retail pharmacy partners, including building trust with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making

  • Drive account performance by proactively analyzing KPIs, identifying growth levers, and leading execution of partnership strategies to increase profitability and market share

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with pricing, network operations, contracting, and marketing to design and deliver high-impact partner initiatives

  • Conduct and lead strategic business reviews, translating data into clear narratives, actionable recommendations, and aligned growth plans

  • Own renewal cycles and contract negotiations, identifying opportunities to expand scope, improve economics, and strengthen long-term partnerships

  • Proactively identify and lead expansion opportunities across assigned accounts, including new program adoption or geographic growth

  • Synthesize client feedback and market insights to influence internal strategy, product roadmap, and process improvements

  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to team best practices, playbooks, and scaling efforts

Scope & Impact: 

  • Owns a portfolio of higher-value and/or more complex accounts with significant revenue impact

  • Operates with a high degree of autonomy, setting account strategy and influencing cross-functional priorities

  • Drives meaningful revenue growth, profitability improvements, and market share gains across accounts

  • Acts as a strategic partner to clients and an internal thought partner to leadership

  • Contributes to team development through mentorship and process improvement

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 6+ years of relevant experience with a master’s degree

  • Demonstrated success managing and growing complex accounts, preferably in healthcare, pharmacy, PBM, or marketplace environments

  • Ability to develop and execute data-driven account strategies that drive revenue and profitability

  • Strong ability to interpret performance data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations

  • Experience working with KPIs such as claims volume, margin, and market share

  • Proven ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making

  • Strong executive presence with experience leading business reviews and presenting to client leadership

  • Experience working closely with pricing, operations, contracting, and marketing teams to deliver client outcomes

  • Ability to navigate and influence cross-functional priorities in a matrixed organization

  • Experience supporting or leading contract renewals and negotiations with a focus on value creation and long-term partnerships

At GoodRx, pay ranges are determined based on work locations and may vary based on where the successful candidate is hired. The pay ranges below are shown as a guideline, and the successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant business and organizational factors. These pay zones may be modified in the future. Please contact your recruiter for additional information.

San Francisco and Seattle Offices:

$121,000.00 - $193,000.00

New York Office:

$111,000.00 - $177,000.00

Santa Monica Office:

$101,000.00 - $161,000.00

Other Office Locations:

$91,000.00 - $145,000.00
