DESCRIPTION:
As a Sr Manager, Channel Management at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will develop strategic growth through our distribution channels and partnerships across multiple market segments. Lead the development and execution of comprehensive channel strategies to expand market presence and deliver exceptional value to customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement high-impact initiatives, manage relationships with key channel partners, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by enabling our customers to make breakthrough discoveries and innovations across healthcare, life sciences, and applied markets.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelors degree required. 10 years of commercial experience in life sciences, analytical instruments, or related industry, with progressive responsibility in channel/distribution sales management preferred
• Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, or related scientific field
• Demonstrated success developing and executing channel growth strategies and programs to achieve revenue and profitability targets
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills to evaluate market trends, competitive landscape, and channel performance metrics
• Experience managing complex relationships with distributors and channel partners
• Excellent leadership abilities with proven experience influencing in matrix organizations
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to engage effectively at all levels
• Proficiency with CRM systems, business intelligence tools, and Microsoft Office suite
• Strong project management capabilities and ability to implement initiatives across functions
• English proficiency required, additional languages beneficial
• Ability to travel 30-50% for partner/customer meetings
• Demonstrated experience in operational excellence and continuous improvement
• Experience conducting business reviews and developing action plans to improve performance
• Knowledge of compliance requirements and channel management best practices
