PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $80,200.00-$97,800.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $62,400.00 - $115,700.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:

In this role, you’ll play a vital part in bringing BECU’s Community Engagement programs and signature events to life. You’ll ensure initiatives are thoughtfully coordinated, delivered on time, and aligned with program goals that strengthen connections between employees, communities, and partners. Through your organization, collaboration, and attention to detail, you’ll help transform ideas into meaningful, well-executed experiences. Your work will directly support positive community impact while reinforcing a culture of engagement and purpose. Every project you manage helps turn intention into action.

To join our dynamic team in this role, candidates must reside in Washington State. This is a hybrid position with regular onsite presence at our Tukwila headquarters and across the greater Seattle area for event and program activities. Whether working remotely or onsite, we are committed to keeping you fully engaged and included in our collaborative environment.   

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Program & Event Execution: You’ll maintain workflows, timelines, and deliverables to ensure Community Engagement programs and signature events are executed effectively, consistently, and in alignment with organizational goals, with occasional travel to support meetings or events.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: You’ll partner closely with Community Engagement leadership, internal stakeholders, and external partners to promote clear communication, aligned expectations, and timely delivery of outcomes.
  • Project Coordination & Risk Management: You’ll manage cross‑functional project timelines and deliverables, proactively identifying issues, escalating risks, and offering recommendations to keep initiatives on track.
  • Employee & Community Program Support: You’ll enable consistent administration and participation by reviewing and approving employee submissions, responding to questions, updating program materials, and supporting outreach that encourages employee engagement in the community.
  • Metrics, Reporting & Insights: You’ll track key milestones and metrics to support reporting, accountability, and continuous improvement, and assist leadership in using data to inform program insights and recommendations.
  • Event Communications & Knowledge Resources: You’ll coordinate event communications and materials, developing FAQs, surveys, common responses, and other documentation in partnership with program and event leads.
  • Operational Excellence: You’ll manage multiple priorities using established tools, processes, and sound judgment, while maintaining written procedures and standard materials to support operational continuity.
  • Additional Support: Perform other duties as needed to support the Community Engagement team, including local and interstate travel for events, flexible work hours, and occasional physical activity such as standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 lbs during event setup and execution.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business or communications, or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of relevant experience which may include project management or related roles

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting employee engagement, community‑focused programs, or enterprise initiatives within BECU or a similar organization preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and implement projects as required
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Intermediate proficiency with standard business and collaboration tools (e.g., document management, scheduling, spreadsheets)
  • Familiarity with DEI principles and ability to apply a DEI lens
