Leads the strategic development, implementation, and growth of the customer affordability programs across Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas. Provides insight of program operations, stakeholder partnerships, customer engagement initiatives and performance management to increase access to energy assistance and support evolving customer needs.

Responsibilities

Key Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Identify, prioritize, develop and conduct initiatives to evaluate and provide programs to increase customer awareness and education for affordability efforts. 
  • Develop and implement programs which drive natural gas adoption within specific market segments.
  • Work with community partners to identify new opportunities for customer outreach programs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within market segments.
  • Create, prepare and deliver presentations to external stakeholders for targeted programs.
  • Develop and conduct all aspects of hosting events and conference booths for appropriate initiatives to promote ONE Gas.
  • Participate in conferences, workshops, and training to stay up-to-date on energy efficient equipment and processes.
  • Implementation of new initiatives designed to educate and provide competitive threat mitigation within the commercial and public sectors.
  • May train and provide guidance to team members. May lead projects or functional teams.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
  • Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education Requirements 

Bachelor's degree preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and additional work experience. (Typically, one and a half to two years of relevant experience is equivalent to one year of formal education.)

Experience 

  • Experience with:
    • Community partner agencies or 501(c)(3) organizations 
    • Energy efficiency products, programs and technologies.
    • Company and industry operations including emerging industry trends, challenges and opportunities relating to energy efficient natural gas equipment.
    • Energy industry emerging technologies, trends, processes, and procedures.
  • Ability to understand customer sector challenges and service requirements and trends, processes, and procedures.
  • Ability to understand the technical language associated with energy efficiency and interact effectively with technical staff, consultants, and experts.
  • Application of math and algebraic formulas.
  • Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers and applicable software.
  • Experience researching, composing, and preparing reports and correspondence.
  • Experience in presenting presentations, ideas and concepts to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience identifying, analyzing, and prioritizing problems and situations.
  • Experience interacting, advising, negotiating, and communicating effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.

Licenses and Certifications 

Applicable driver’s license. Requires travel to various locations.

Additional Requirements 

  • Mobility to travel in and around office facilities.
  • Communicate and/or exchange information or instructions; conduct oral presentations and/or meetings.
