About the role

Concept Plus is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to maintain the logical and physical data models for databases, implementing physical databases, maintaining reference tables and metadata, and providing support to all environments.

What you'll do

• Maintain Data Dictionary and Entity Relationship documentation
• Manage the Production Database
• Update and Create Database Fields and Tables
• Monitor Database Growth and Performance
• Upgrade database tools as necessary and appropriate
• Perform Database Monitoring and Updates to Ensure Data Integrity
• Perform Database Backup and Recovery
• With client approval, make all database changes/modifications identified and prioritized by the client.
• Evaluate requirements analysis, clarification of the problem with the originator, determining if correcting the problem is feasible and cost effective, and the consequences of the proposed change.
• Coordinate with the clienton all problems. Automate all End of Month (EOM) database tasks where possible. This will include database snapshots, backups, interface transmissions, expiring positions, report creation, and reference table dumps.

Qualifications

• US Citizen
• Active Secret Clearance
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum ten (10) years’ practical experience in full life cycle web-applications and software development (i.e., software programming/coding, software modification, enhancement & analysis) and tailored system sustainment.
• Minimum five (5) years’ practical software experience in Microsoft IIS Web Server, Cold Fusion language, Java Script, Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), and Structured Query Language (SQL).
• Experience working with RegAF, NGB/ANG, AFR.
• IAT Level 2 certification, i.e. CompTIA Sec+ required.
