As part of our large Fortune 100, we are seeking a dynamic, growth-minded individual to drive the marketing growth agenda to support our Government Programs agent business. The leader will work within the business, and work externally with agents and brokers, become immersed in the products, culture and market dynamics, across leadership, sales, product and finance, to ideate, promote and deploy innovative and practical marketing and business strategies. The leader will be charged with increasing the impact of marketing, resulting in efficient growth and net membership, reputation and partnership gains, while increasing differentiation in an evolving market.
As part of the advancements and to build scale, the leader will integrate marketing functions from Government Programs Marketing and Agent Experience to build sustainable operations.
With a balance of an analytical mindset and ability to swiftly navigate a matrixed organization, the right candidate will have demonstrated results-based growth and retention strategies translating to timely and successful execution with incisive marketing performance management.
If you are located in Minnesota, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Drive growth-based marketing and business development based on challenges and opportunities
  • Serve as 'Agent marketing and experience' contact with leadership, sales, product, finance within LOB
  • Identify, develop and drive strategic, multi-vehicle marketing campaigns national to local, to support consumer and agent sales
  • Analyze data and performance to drive recommendations to support growth agenda and ROI
  • Integrate and leverage capabilities of Government Programs (GP) Marketing and Experience based on MBOs and expectations
  • Collaborate with GP Marketing to align objectives, operations and marketing priorities
  • Accountable for growth and marketing attributed goals for line of business
  • Responsible for maintaining a pulse on the business and marketplace
  • Actively communicate marketing and business status updates with business and GP Marketing

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years planning and executing business development/marketing growth strategies with performance accountabilities
  • 5+ years managing teams that foster an effective performance-minded, relationship-based culture
  • Experience navigating hierarchical and consensus-heavy organizations to achieve desired outcomes

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent quantitative skills matched with an equal ability to communicate synthesized insights and implications to leaders
  • Marketing, sales and product background in a highly-regulated industry

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $159,300 to $273,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
