We are seeking a visionary and results-oriented Senior Director of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) to lead and transform our end-to-end planning functions, including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, and Allocation. This role is pivotal in driving a best-in-class S&OP process, leveraging advanced technologies such as SAP IBP and AI-driven solutions to enhance forecast accuracy, inventory optimization, and operational agility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Evolve the S&OP Process: Drive a robust, integrated S&OP process that aligns demand, supply, and financial objectives across the organization.

  • Technology Transformation: Champion the adoption of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and other digital tools to modernize planning capabilities and enable real-time decision-making.

  • AI & Advanced Analytics: Integrate AI and machine learning into forecasting, inventory optimization, and scenario planning to improve accuracy and responsiveness.

  • Demand & Supply Planning: Oversee the development of accurate demand forecasts and supply plans that balance customer needs with operational efficiency.

  • Inventory Optimization: Implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce working capital, and improve service levels.

  • Allocation Strategy: Ensure effective product allocation across channels and geographies to maximize availability and minimize stockouts.

  • Forecast Accuracy & Safety Stock: Establish and monitor KPIs to improve forecast accuracy and define safety stock strategies that support business continuity.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to ensure alignment and execution of planning strategies.

  • Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to streamline planning processes, enhance data visibility, and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.

  • MBA preferred.

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain planning, with at least 10 years in a people management role.

  • Proven experience leading S&OP transformations and implementing SAP IBP or similar planning platforms.

  • Strong understanding of AI applications in supply chain and planning environments.

  • Demonstrated success in driving system and process transformation across complex organizations.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

Preferred Attributes:
  • APICS or similar supply chain certification.

  • Experience in consumer goods, retail, manufacturing.

  • Change management and continuous improvement expertise.
